Well, I was wondering about not hearing any teammate comments. Doesn't sound good.

Anonymous teammate blasts Robert Griffin III

"It’s becoming more and more difficult to see how the Robert Griffin III era in Washington can continue after this season.
.
.
.
The teammate also wondered if Griffin would even remain in the NFL for much longer, indicating RG3 might be interested in getting into politics before too long."

ha! I predicted politics was in his future right after we drafted him. I assumed a full career, however.

what a sorry drama this whole thing has become.

we need Griffin to go so we can get on with Gruden's learning process.

for the uninitiated, btw, this whole Griffin episode is a classic on how the modern machinery works to destroy an individual. Very Washington DC'ish. and we now return you to the celebration and honor of Marion Barry.

fansince62;274420 we need Griffin to go so we can get on with Gruden's learning process. [/QUOTE said:
My pick for "Quote of the week"

Damn, fansince, either you have one wicked sense of sarcasm or you eschew "sugar coating" in favor of "starkness"-or perhaps both ?

Well, he doesn't take responsibility for his failings, just like any good politician, so he should fit right in. Bada-Bing. :) See leading smiley before taking auto-offense, if e Bada-Bing doesn't clue you in.

little of both. :)

just weary of ending up in the same ole cul de sac toward the middle/end of every season.

the NFL itself has lost a lot of its entertainment value.

the constant struggles in Redskin land sap the joy out of so much that used to be.

I can remember the day...actually the last time was the 1991 season...when I watched a game and expected to win, expected superlative play, was upset for all the right reasons when we lost. still remember parts of the Titans game that year when BMitch almost fumbled away the game but we came back in overtime to remain undefeated. I actually believed when the moment arose...someone....maybe Marshall...would pull off the needed play. what a shift to watching games and hoping we simply don't screw it up. completely different mindset.

Maybe it was Robinson since he's no longer with the team?

Idk I say it's bullshit until verified.

It always amuses me when someone calls out a teammate but they are to spineless to put their name on it.

Well, when the media see's a fan base feeding off this kinda crap, by choice, it's inevitable that they will continue to spoon it out until they stop sopping it up with a biscuit. Bitching and chewing at the same time.

And, if the player is actually real, and still on the team, he should be cut immediately. No matter who it is.

He would be a maggot.

The TMZ piece refers to the talkative teammate as a 'star'. That would reduce the potential list considerably. I'm going to limit it to offensive players. (It's my post, I'm allowed.) Lets see.....

Gonna have a tough time keeping me from thinking DJax.

**** TMZ and **** the coward anonymous teammate if he even exists.

Anonymous = coward

Nothing to see here.

There should always be an uproar when a 'teammate' does this to another fellow player. It's disgusting. If I were the team, I'd do whatever it took to find out who did it and they would be gone the next day.

Twitter blowing up now with London Fletcher's comments about Jim Haslett. He's a terrible defensive coordinator. He got Mike Shanahan fired by blaming him for his lousy defense. He's probably trashing Gruden to Snyder behind Gruden's back. He could take the 85 Bears defense and make them mediocre. Etc...

He could take the 85 Bears defense and make them mediocre. Etc...

And we've known all this since BEFORE he was hired by Mike Shanahan.

Yep, the professionals have been running this team all these years.

if i remember correctly, Garcon blasted him after his last game. Probably their "anonymous" source

Savvy front office executives don't trade a generation of draft picks for one player.

Teams gave up far less to acquire the rights to John Elway and Eli Manning on draft day.

I'm glad I was a fan during the SB era - v Bills and V Denver - as I doubt I'll still be around to see the 'Skins reach those dizzy heights again. I reckon another 20 years should just about be the end of me!

HC does it to the media, so why wouldn't other players do it too? Just plain stupid.....
