About the Suggestion Box: How to submit and vote on suggestions

Have a great idea you would like us to consider to improve BGO or our member experience?

This forum is the place to submit it.

This forum is a special type - in that you can not only submit a suggestion, but others can vote for or against it. I'll show you how it works.

If you are the thread starter, your suggestion will look like any other post in other forums. But when others are logged in, in the right hand corner of your suggestion, they'll see a number and an up or down arrow. If you agree the suggestion merits consideration, click on the up arrow. Not crazy about the idea, click the down arrow.

As folks see and vote on the suggestion, we'll all be able to see which ones are most favored by members and be able to potentially implement them.

The vote tally for the suggestion will go up or down based on upvotes or downvotes received. Voting is anonymous. In the forum view, you can see the 'yes' vote total to the left of the thread title. You can also click on the 'Popular' tab and see all suggestions and how many votes they've recieved from most to least.

With the start of a new year and with Washington's 2025 just a few days away from ending (boo! hiss!), it is a logical time to ask for suggestions on how to improve the site.
