Definitely a good time to start anew. ES was like the Byzantine Empire. It rose in the dark ages (early Snyder), continued through the middle ages (middle Snyder), and snuffed out right before Columbus discovered the new world (the Harris era). And it doesn't look like Harris is going to throw the fans a bunch of small pox infected blankets. Don't get me wrong, ES was great. A truly bright light during a time of great despair. The timing was just wretched.

I don’t think it’s the same guy. The original MassSkinsFan was pretty identifiable by posting style. There were a number of guys like that on early ES… like AtlantaSkinsFan if anyone remembers that cat?

Fear the Spear was our free spirit here at BGO but he vanished a couple of years ago. That’s one think that sucks about forums, you often never find out what happened to member _______.

I heard at one point like 10 years ago that there was a second ES member whose name was similar, like Mass_SkinsFan or something. So the original MassSkinsFan had to have a private discussion with him to make sure he was legit, wouldn't dishonor his name, and that he wasn't being clowned....

I wore my Extremeskins t-shirt while watching the TB game. (Fits a bit tightly, 23ish years later.)

Every time I see Greg McElroy calling a game, I think of AtlantaSkinsFan (if anyone doesn't remember, he provided empirical proof that McElroy was going to be the first coming of Jayden Daniels, though he didn't frame it that way, exactly).

Yeah I kind of missed MSF. I always kind of liked him, in a weird way. I can't really explain it. I found him interesting.

Best seats I’ve ever had in that stadium… last row 200 level, one section over from Owners box. Tirico and Collinsworth(sp?) were sitting just above us.

The awesome/sad part of those seats were just how incredibly cheap they were…. Goes to show you how much Snyder had lost the faithful, and how much season tix holders had given up on the team. Those 3 seats I got were part of a 6 seat block, and all were on sale on Ticketmaster and SeatGeek. I could have bought all six of those seats for less than $1500.

Don’t think it will be like that anymore… which is why I signed back up for season tix :)

We have similar seats, 200's last row, but in section 204....even with the goal line. 200's under cover on the Skins side are the best seats in the house.

Found the pic from SeatGeek…. Those seats were in 201. My 2 season tix I signed up for the next day are just across from you in 219, under the overhang but unobstructed, ~ 10-15 yard line, on the aisle. Not sure how many games I can get to, but can’t wait to figure it out.

This thread is a wild trip down memory lane. Good to see a lot of old familiar names pop into this thread. I was one of the multitude that joined ES after Gibbs was announced as coach for his 2nd stint. Crazy to think I was on that site for 20 years.

Weird to see that I've been on this site for 15 years.

Fun fact: my first suspension from ES was given to me by Mark the Homer. I posted a picture of some people in costumes, but the costumes were some sort of suits to emulate nudity, but not even realistic nudity.
