Right now, I'm just lucky. It's not fair to my opponent that Rodgers was pulled. GB could've put up 80 tonight - easily.

Still not counting this one until after tomorrow night.
 
Who in their right mind benches Drew Brees for Jay Cutler? Looked like I made the correct decision in the 1st 3 quarters of the NO game tonight, until Brees went crazy.

Steve Smith has produced 9 points the last 2 weeks...he scored over 30 for me in a game a few weeks back!

Tell me again why I traded Jimmy Graham and didn't just let him ride it out on the bench until he came back?

I see Brandon Marshall finally had a decent night for FF followed up by injuring himself again. What a bust this year.
 
He helped me with that late surge, but the injury is probably not an issue. More than likely, Marshall just wanted to get out of that game and on the plane for home.

They need to just stop playing Sunday, Monday, and Thursday night games. They're all blowouts anymore. It's really strange.
 
My opponent's defense has 34 points tonight. He is already the sixth person to go head to head with me and have his highest point total of the season - all losses, like this one will become. And I'm sitting on 138 points.

No emotions and just don't care about it.

The likelihood of them keeping that high of a score for the game is pretty low. I have the feeling you'll be squeaking a win out by the end of this.

My opponent from last week (who, yes, had his highest point total of the season) is sitting on 74 points right now and could get a few more.

If a loss happens tonight and next week, I may gut the roster and waive everyone for a bunch of practice players.
 
Something else - don't want to take away anything from my opponent this week. It has been a great effort by his team and in all honesty, he should've won. Pulling Rodgers in the 3rd may save me, but the reality of it is that his team deserves it more than mine.
 
Just remember BB, you can't 'fire sale' your roster no matter how bad it gets - it's not fair to other players. Keep on playing...thing about FF is you never know what can happen...

If a team deserves it more, they will win it. That is the one thing that is consistent about Fantasy Football. The deserving team wins. It's all about stats, and the better statistical group wins.

You won. Your opponent put forth their best lineup, and you came out ahead. Enjoy it, you earned it. :p

Yeah, I'm going to squeak one out tonight with a low score. But my points last week were right at my average. I've had 5 other weeks scoring higher than the 109 I needed to win last week. But the only reason my score is low this week, is because Luck is on a bye and Andy Dalton got negative points. With Luck in, I'm over 100.

Fantasy football is like real football. Some weeks you win with just enough, other weeks you give it all you've got and you lose.
 
I understand, John. This is just sheer frustration - that's all. I've talked with several friends who do FF and even they say stuff like this happens, but not to this degree in a single season.

I appreciate all the kind words. I now can see the frustration that some of you have shown in previous seasons with this game. I didn't understand it at the time, but I sure do now.
 
I was you the first two years I played - no joke. It was just ridiculous. Totally understand. Despite the fact that I'm on a 3 or 4 game skid, this year has been the most fun so far - because I drafted well and have competed every week. I would love to finally make the playoffs but may not get there again.

Sometimes I think watching games for fantasy purposes is bad for your health :D
