5th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Yeah. The experts have gotten to be like internet arguments. Just because you say it REALLY definitively doesn't make it correct.

In League 1, I'm entertaining trade offers for anyone who'd like Niles Paul.

My MO now is to do the opposite of what the "experts" say. I started off on the right foot by drafting like a crackhead, so lets finish this season up with more opposite of intelligent moves: will anyone trade their RG3 for my Matt Ryan?

Do you have Lynch? CJ Spiller for Lynch, straightup. I think that's a totally reasonable trade!

This week is proof that even the "professionals" at FF don't really know what is going on. Every single FF column I read or show I listen to said bench Newton because he playing with bad ribs against a tough Detroit front and they all agreed that Locker was a great start against a bad Cowboys secondary, so much so that it was suggested he be used as a "streaming" option this week over a regular starter at QB.

Locker ended the day with 12.26 points while Newton put up 21.14.

Moral - nobody knows. Not really.

I waited until gametime to decide whether or not to bench Brandon Marshall. Media made me almost put Maclin in instead. Honestly I changed my whole wr rotation around based on the fact that he might not play. Mediots

if you would have had Marshall on your bench last night we would have had to have you on FF suicide watch today!!

In my work league, the guy playing me benched him. For Anquan Boldin.

I'm fighting the urge to out-smart myself with constant subs this year. I feel like I drafted as well as anyone this year, particularly since I drafted last in my league. I'm not going to shuffle my starters constantly but try to have more faith that my starters will produce most weeks. It's working for me pretty well so far. I expect to come crashing back to Earth any week now.

I'm telling you I wouldn't have even considered benching him if it wasn't for all the drama being spewed all over the Internet. Like this shit is t hard enough. ;)

NFL.com reporting Vikes will play Adrian Peterson in Week 3. For what it's worth :)

This week, perhaps?

Could be...then again I was supposed to be 0-2 right now :)

Ha! I was supposed to be 1-1, a win in week 1 and a loss in week 2...I did the opposite.

I've probably reached my apex of success already :)

I'm hoping I'm getting my lumps in the beginning, or this is going to be a long season of suck in that league.

What a week full of injuries around the entire league.

I personally lost Ryan Mathews, Mark Ingram, and AJ Green to injury this week. Mathews and Ingram are out for at least a month each.

I'm glad I thought we were playing with a flex option when we drafted...thankfully, I still have Sproles, Spiller, and Lynch at RB.

WR is another story... :(

I lost two RBs. Also (Matthews & Moreno) . I'd rather loose them both in one game than spread out over two. Silver lining to the dark cloud.

Well, I hope whoever's got AP has good backup RB's...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry that fantasy team owners are having to double check each day's Domestic Violence bookings and indictments prior to finalizing each Sunday's line-up...

Pretty sure it's cry.
