5th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Boone, your RBs rock. But barring injury, if you are only going to play Witten once this season, you may consider upgrading a WR that will play every game this season.

Those grades are always goofy. I'm just hoping my team doesn't get the injury bug, because no matter who you draft, it just takes one bad weekend to wreck your season.

I have updated the first post with current team names and usernames I know to be correct for the teams. Just in case you are like me and don't always know who named what.

Well, I got an A- and was all happy, but listening to you bums it sounds like I may have a terrible team.

Looks like you have a solid team to me. Just need to learn those OSX snipping tools for screen shots :p

Draft Results

Led by a Stellar WR Corps, Tanard's Roach Clips Will be a Tough Team
Powered by Automated Insights
Draft Summary
Tanard's Roach Clips figures to be in the mix for a playoff spot all season, taking the third overall draft slot and turning it into a solid team that's expected to go 7-6-0 (1,269 points). With that record, they will likely finish fifth in BGO Ballers #1 League. With their first five picks, Tanard's Roach Clips aimed for balance, selecting QB Aaron Rodgers (18th overall), RBs Jamaal Charles (3rd) and Shane Vereen (43rd), and WRs Brandon Marshall (23rd) and Keenan Allen (38th). They have one of the best groups of WRs in the league, as they have Marshall, Victor Cruz, Allen, and Marques Colston on their team.

Nice draft. If there were a Fantasy Football Hall Of Fame, you should nominate yourself. Wait, there is? And you can??

Schedule
Tanard's Roach Clips can write off Week 10 as a scheduling injustice and use that time to consider other injustices: for example, why doesn't Chewbacca get a medal during the ceremony at the end of Star Wars? Wookie bias? They have six players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Taking a look at the entire season from start to finish, they have an easier-than-average schedule. Tanard's Roach Clips has a chance to come out of the gate hot and close strong, as both the first four games and final four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average.

Draft Notes
Great Idea, Poor Execution
Tanard's Roach Clips will need an assist from the waiver wire in Week 10, as their only TE (Kyle Rudolph), only K (Blair Walsh), and only DEF (Houston) will all be on bye that week.

Sky's the Limit
With six players projected to significantly beat their previous year's fantasy points, Tanard's Roach Clips hopes to have found some up-and-coming stars.

Nearly There
The top half of the Tanard's Roach Clips roster is one of the strongest in the league (ranked No. 1). However, the bottom of the roster is among the weakest (ranked No. 8).

Full Control Early On
Tanard's Roach Clips began things with a bang, nabbing the most projected points in the league during the draft's first half.

No Back-Up No Cry
Ignoring roster depth, Tanard's Roach Clips chose only one player at three different positions (TE, DEF, and K).

A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?
Tanard's Roach Clips grabbed a sleeper in Mark Ingram with pick No. 123.

Tanard's Roach Clips
1.(3)Jamaal Charles (KC - RB)
2.(18)Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB)
3.(23)Brandon Marshall (Chi - WR)
4.(38)Keenan Allen (SD - WR)
5.(43)Shane Vereen (NE - RB)
6.(58)Victor Cruz (NYG - WR)
7.(63)Tom Brady (NE - QB)
8.(78)Kyle Rudolph (Min - TE)
9.(83)Jeremy Maclin (Phi - WR)
10.(98)Marques Colston (NO - WR)
11.(103)Bernard Pierce (Bal - RB)
12.(118)DeAngelo Williams (Car - RB)
13.(123)Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
14.(138)Houston (Hou - DEF)
15.(143)Blair Walsh (Min - K)

Doug Martin is on the trading block. He is rated the 8th or 9th best RB in most FF rankings. McD5 is contemplating an offer and if he decides to make it has the inside track. But dazzle me and he could be yours. I'm not chomping at the bit on this one, because I have two WR starters on my bench, but both are unproven so I'm looking for a top tier WR in exchange for Mr. Martin. I would also consider adding either Jason Whitten or Wes Welker to the offer for a top tier WR.

Alright league #2, 30 minutes til the draft. Make sure you get in a few minutes before start to make sure you are ready to go. I'll be in the FedEx field chat as well as the draft chat for any questions.

is waiting to draft , said it would let me go to draft with 30 min to go

but so far no launch button :(

Dead Money, that team is also stacked. Nice draft.

Good luck to everyone drafting today. First-timers, relax and take your time.

5 minutes to start, don't let the computer do your dirty work!

Thanks McD. I was thinking I'll probably never be happy with a draft again after getting Lynch, Megatron and Manning in the first 3 rounds last year. You all did great I'm just hoping I can improve again through the trades and waiver claims I mess with every week. I thought everyone would post all their teams here again... Not bragging by any stretch that's for sure... looking around yall are gonna be a tough crowd. Disappointed not to have Neo to duel it out with again this year.... Good luck everybody!

Drafting 12th sucks. :p

Also, my apologies to League #2. Roster is QB, 3xWR, 2xRB, TE, DEF, K. It will not let me change it as soon as the draft is loaded, and I assumed it had transferred the positions over when I told it to clone the league. I should have double checked that one. Just keep in mind, there is no W/R/T flex slot in League #2.

well, missed THAT draft. This should be fun to see for the first time.

Keenan Allen (SD - WR)
Julius Thomas (Den - TE)
Shane Vereen (NE - RB)
Andrew Luck (Ind - QB)
Marques Colston (NO - WR)
Ray Rice (Bal - RB)
Kelvin Benjamin (Car - WR)
St. Louis (StL - DEF)
Terrance West (Cle - RB)
Andy Dalton (Cin - QB)
Jonathan Stewart (Car - RB)
James Jones (Oak - WR)
Matt Bryant (Atl - K)
