Chris Cooley hosts the 3rd Annual Cooley’s for the Cure!

Ashburn, VA — October 4, 2011 – Washington Redskins Pro Bowl Tight End Chris Cooley will host the 3rd Annual Cooley’s for the Cure auction to raise funds for breast cancer charities at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm on Monday, October 10th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The event is held in honor of Cooley’s mother, Nancy Cooley, who is a breast cancer survivor.

The auction will feature memorabilia worn and signed by Cooley as well as his original pottery and drawings. In addition to the artwork, Cooley’s teammates and friends will support his cause by donating and auctioning a variety of Redskins memorabilia, including autographed jerseys, footballs, and helmets.

Special guests from 106.7 The Fan will be onsite conducting live player interviews from Clyde’s.

Charities Supported – This year, Cooley has selected two charities that had a personal impact on his mother’s treatment.
