3rd Annual BGO Fantasy Football League

To think 4-5 weeks ago I was soooo ready to give up. The league was so competitive this year it was a blast not only paying attention to what you were doing but the others around you because it was so tight. I went from last place to possibly as high as the #4 seed... that's just crazy in a 12 man league. I've never been able to make a run that big before, hopefully our Skins can do the same. Hail.
 
Okay...good thing I checked. Apparently I did make the playoffs.

I didn't realize that points for was the first tiebreaker instead of head-to-head.

There is nothing like making the playoffs with a losing record. :)

Its like being in the NFC eh?

Points being the first tiebreaker is lame but congrats anyway!

I'd be the 4 seed if head to head was the tie breaker, so it doesn't matter either way, but I still think points scored doesn't mean crap if you lost to someone tied with you.

I figured as much. Looks like yahoo really hasn't improved much since I ran a league 5/6 yrs ago on it. Jk with the beat down graphics buddy, it was on my page when I logged in and I just thought it was classic. We all know this game is more luck than skill! Cheers

I always use Yahoo! b/c I'm familiar with it. Someone was looking into a VBulletin based FF software so we could run the league directly from the site, don't know whatever happened to that. I personally don't like ESPN, but I'd be willing to switch to NFL.com or CBSSportsline (or whatever everyone else wanted).

EDIT: Anything short of tabulating all the scores by myself by hand I'm game for. Lol.
 
Yahoo has spent the last six years adding a system that gives awards for random, useless things sponsored by Toyota.

Because when I asked myself, "how could I make fantasy football better," the immediate answer that popped in was "random useless awards every week, sponsored by Toyota"

I mean just this week I got this:
" Toyota Biggest Blowout x3
Three is an unlucky number -- for everyone else in your league. Toyota salutes you for winning with the largest margin of victory three times in your league!"

You just can't beat this stuff. I'm trying to find the chart that shows how many of each I can redeem for a car but I haven't found it yet.
 
Well in their defense... It is free. I used cbsportsline for yrs and loved it, but it was not free and was a big money league

Wow.

The Bacon Strips at 6-7 were like that lame 8-8 NFL team that every once in a while sneaks into the playoffs only to get dismantled in the Wild Card round. Team Samsquanch literally destroyed me.

You had a great team, and did an admirable job. For some reason, your players just took a crap this week.

Samsquanch also has a great team that is on fire right now.

Great season. You'll be back next year.

Congratulations Dead...nice job. My players couldn't do anything in the late games.

Man...Adrian Peterson is simply taking over fantasy leagues all by himself. Wow.
