3rd Annual BGO Fantasy Football League

Well, for the 3rd straight year, I lead in points scored against me (almost 1300 so far). And for the 3rd straight year, I will not be a playoff team.

Hurray!

This can't continue, brother. Next year is your year. Gotta be.

Boone, you are officially a co-owner of Prima Nocte. For everything you, Neo and Om have provided everyone here--you are in the game, my amigo.

That's the good news. The bad news? And you can take it as a Redskins fan. Just like last year, the team is getting hit hard with injuries late in the season.

I request a moment of silence for Willis McGahee.

Okay, now carry on.

Boone is now a co-owner of Prima Nocte.

Run for your lives, people!

Lanky, you are off my Christmas card list.

So I just traded for RG3 in my money league. Had to give up Brady and Steve Johnson (I also have Miles Austin and Cobb, should be good barring injury) to get Griff and Hernandez (my TE has been Tamme - blech). My only concern is that now I have Griff and Morris (though I also have AP, Fred Jackson and Mendenhall), and I am concerned this puts too many eggs in the Redskins' basket.

Having said all that, it makes Redskins games all the more enjoyable, particularly when we score a lot as well.

LOL, what did I do now? :) Hillman?

Yeah. Just like Boone has the most points scored against him every year, you seem to be just ahead of me in waiver priority every year and you get a couple guys a year I want.

I thought I might be safe this time at #3 on the list with you needing a replacement for McCoy. I figured you would grab Brown to handcuff him so I didn't even put in a backup claim on Brown who ended up going to McD5.

My RB situation this year is what is going to doom me, especially now with Gronk out 4 to 6 weeks. As long as he and Johnson were producing, I was making up for missing a real RB1 but now....I'm going to hurt.

Hillman is only a one-week replacement for me - I'm not even convinced he'll be effective. I avoided Brown because I think wheels are coming off in Philly, and nobody is going to be effective there anymore.

That is pretty much what he was going to be for me as well. I didn't want to start Jones this week going against the Skins.

Although Hillman might have gotten used again. Hell, with my RB situation, he might have been the rock star on the roster. :(

I just hope Hernandez can actually play. Is being out for half this season is just killing me with my utter lack of production from my RBs (like many others). My WRs will have a good day now and again, but I think I've only had Reggie Bush pull some craziness once, and now he's been almost useless for 4 weeks.

And I hate Michael Turner in fantasy. He is scum.

screen passes to morris for TD's just became 10 point + yards*2 plays for you :)

I'm really not crying - it just sounds like I am :) Truth is, this is really the first year I've felt remotely like I know what I'm doing. Just hasn't mattered much. If MJD didn't go down, I'd likely still be in the hunt. The 'everyone has their best game against me' thing is just bad luck.

Struggled choosing between Kaepernick against New Orleans or Dalton against Oakland this week in another league. Ugh. I went with Dalton, but that means Kaepernick will likely go bananas.

I guess I should get on the Redskins to palyoffs bandwagon forming... A win this week and next may be enough for a chance at the fantasy paloffs after being in last and second to last for what seemed like a majority of the season. Wonders never cease. With that said Jonathan Stewart will prolly beast mode Bacon Strips right past me tomorrow night.

My team is falling apart. Ugh.
