I'm just going to go out there right now and say that knowing who's going to be good and who isn't year to year is impossible and I don't care what any analytic person says, regardless if it's mustachio Warren Sharp of PFF, it's absolutely impossible to tell if a slate of opponents is hard or not until probably mid-October.

All that said, drawing the NFC East, AFC South (Texans, Colts, Jags and Titans) seems to be easier than other divisions, but the NFC West is going to be tough. The other games (Bengals, Vikings and Falcons), eh, who knows. All were 4th place teams this year. All were in the playoff hunt a year ago.

When we play them is far more important than who we play, e.g., playing the Colts in October vs December this past year.

Also not having 5 teams coming off their bye would help too

Yes - both good points. I do think that looks like a more manageable schedule (on it's face anyway) than what we had to contend with this past season.

BMitch and Finlay are having an interesting discussions on rumors they are hearing about Washington playing in London 1 week as an away game (maybe Minnesota) staying the week and having a home game vs Jaguars the following week. Apparently, Harris is really big on international stuff.

We are scheduled for 9 ‘home’ games in 26. So 1 could be abroad and still 8 in Landover.

That would correspond with my Birthday, and one of my best friends lives in London, so that might be a dandy little coincidence...

Depending on when that Titans game is, that is a prime road trip opportunity.

Jaguars are always the "home" team in London, tho...it's like their second stadium.
