Not enough positive news out of camp, time to panic and declare that Adam Peters is a moron!!
I pledge panic to the W
of the Washington Commanders,
and to the mediocrity for which it stands,
one franchise, under new owners,
still completely divisible,
with futility, excuses, and meltdowns for all.
I wonder if he was speaking strictly range or range plus accuracy
I'm asking because people love posting these videos of these long range kicks. They posted one of him making it from supposedly 72 yards so when you hear 60 indoors, it sounds a little disappointing honestlyI mean, who knows if it’s true but he must have been saying range/accuracy. Range without accuracy is useless as a FG kicker, and he used the word “comfortable”
But again who knows how he actually rises to the occasion

Yea because when you tell me 60 indoors, it makes me feel like 55 at best outside which isn't bad but some of these guys are really booting it nowadays and it's a complete game changer. Dak can literally complete one 15 yard pass and Dallas will have a legit chance to hit a game winning FG. We never get anything even close to that and it's frustratingBeing able to make essentially a trick kick under no pressure with no wind (or an aiding wind) on an empty field, after possibly trying to film it a dozen times before nailing it, doesn’t really mean anything. Lots of bad, non-NFL quality kickers have crazy YouTube clips, trick shots, and deep kicks out of context
60 isn’t remarkable anymore at all but if a guy actually has a “comfortable” accurate range out to 60 yards, he’s going to have a nice NFL career as a starter. But since kickers are streaky, you’re probably going to end up moving your family around a lot to make those millions
If he’s even consistent/accurate in the first place. Remains to be seen. Some people crumble under pressure and it doesn’t matter what their skillset is, or what they did in college or even the day before in practice.
