Add to that: Quick passes to McLaurin, Deebo, Lane, even LMC; screens to Ek. Plus their run-D was very poor last year; almost as bad as ours.

Yeah Lawrence is decent against the run. Their Lbs are good against the run. But like our defense, they aren't hot at setting the edge. Run at their perimeter.

If Jayden rushes for 70 yards or so i think we win. If you go back to the last playoff game against the Eagles, Jayden diced them up on the ground but they didn't run him much.

If the Giants have to worry about runs on the permieter, quick screens AND Jayden taking off -- I like how a game plan like that would unfold.

Conversely, I don't love the idea of Jayden running a bunch of 3-5 step drops early on. I think there is a shot the Giants defense wants to show the league they are as good as people think they can be. They seem to have a lot of swagger coming into this game. I think you want to deflate that fast ideally.

I hate the idea of Jayden running as much as that SIP. I am hoping they can get a running game going without calling Daniels number in the huddle.

Defensively we are going to need a couple of turnovers and pressure Russ regularly and hitting him/knock downs

I don't love it either. But if I am picking my spots to do it its against big time defensive lines like what the Giants have.

I actually would go as far as saying if I knew that Jayden would have a big running game, I'd predict a win.

For me in a nutshell: Jayden-Deebo running feels like a good script. Worse case scenario is Russell Willson has a blast throwing deep to the Giants receivers -- Nabers is special and Slayton is a good deep ball catcher.

I do get that. I figure even with our built up OL, Jayden will be forced to run and create plays a bunch with their DL coming at him. Just hate the idea of many called run plays too. I cringe whenever his number is called due to the extra hits.

Their WR's are very good down field and are a concerns. We need to knock Russ to the ground to shake him. I am hoping for some under thrown balls that fall into the good guys hands. It is a tough match for our DBs in their first game. I am looking forward to seeing how that goes yet leery at the same time

I am already sick of the Dart stuff. I was going through my youtube feed yesterday looking for something to watch and in that mix was a headline if I recall from Eisen's show about whether Dart is a generational QB. Yes, he had a great preseason. Let's see him with one pass in the regular season before he's crowned. The hype is insane.

Yeah for me, to win this game, I am guessing the narrative ends up, this team has a real pass rush who would have thought?

If the Giants O line which is already pedestrian at best doesn't have Thomas -- Wilson should be a sitting target.

But alas I do recall some games against the Giants where I was expecting our hyped D line to likewise take advantage of a depleted Giants O line and failed.

So now we're supposed to fear a rookie quarterback coming in cold to his first nfl action?
The pre season bull cucka is getting deeper and deeper.

The season cant start soon enough.

It will be fun to see the Giants hopes dashed when Dart doesn't experience great success!

ANd Daboll and company are canned

I don't mean this sarcastically but the more hype the Giants get coming to this game, the better I like our chances.

In short, I feel among other things the Giants come into this game hungrier. I want that narrative to feel differently as Sunday approaches where the Giants get a little too much love.

Spread was 6.5. Now I see it a 6 and 5.5 in places. Come down to 4!

He's the dude we have to contain the most.

Wilson is pedestrian at this point in his career, but is still lethal with the deep ball. Need a good game from the CBs and Martin.

One can game plan against a stout OL if the OC is not stubborn, like running it up the gut on every first down to keep Quinn happy.

As long time Redskins Fans, we all know that what might look good on paper doesn't necessarily translate to the field.
With the way the media...and sadly, some fans talk, you'd think the Giants Dline was developed in a lab and was a combo of the Fearsome Foursome and the Steel Curtain rolled into one unit. That #5 and Co. should just assume the fetal position until the game clock strikes 0:00.

And let's not forget that Russell Wilson is no spring chicken either and Dart is a rookie that couldn't beat him out in camp.

Very winnable game.

Evn if he does play,no way he's 100%. As Joe Theismann once said "Gotta be good for us? Right?"
