Bill and Mccafrey back on practice field after going out during Pats game.
Lane, Deebo and Amos had good days.
Lattimore very good day.
Coleman, Baptiste, Mariotta, Noah Brown, Mcgee didn't practice. Price with concussion.

I wonder when the team realized they wanted to cut Hampton. Was it during the pre-season game or in film study or what?

It further solidifies that the adults don't give a crap about your draft position. They're not going to occupy a precious roster spot simply cuz you're 'their guy' who they drafted. Either you're good enough, or ya aint.

Wow. Wasn't expecting to read that we cut Hampton. I'm glad this isn't the Rivera regime. We are going to need to draft or sign some LB's this offseason.

Not sure but his play in that game was awful.

Hampton was kind of a strange tweener pick. Safety was arguably one of the only positions AP/Quinn inherited some talent at, and while we were hurting at LB we had signed a couple of veteran studs who were true LB talents. Whereas Hampton felt like a developmental Buffalo Nickel that Rivera would have drafted, who needed to excel on ST’s to earn a future.

Strange pick that most of us kinda shrugged about

Most 5th round picks turn out to be Hamptons (though not always as quickly), to be fair. It’s why I love opportunistic trades like the one for Deebo every other year or so.

Riley isn’t about the team being unhappy at linebacker.

He’s here to help solidify a special teams u it that had a poor start in 2025.

The past 4 years Riley has been a regular on the Miami ST units.

Yes, Hampton was a draft pick but the 5th round is considered a developmental round.

It’s difficult enough to translate skills to NFL when you are playing same spot but going from safety to Buffalo linebacker is a tough one, most guys you try this with fail.

I wish they had given out rosters earlier at camp. It's tough to tell who is doing what out there. They used to hand them out at all the practices...
