Not sure I'd call Lawrence a bust really. He sure hasn't lived up to expectations given his pre-draft profile, but I don't think he's been so bad to be labeled in the "bust" category.

Obviously, how Caleb turns out in the end is TBD. I think this season will be telling.

My hot take is that Ben Johnson will be a mediocre, at best, head coach in the NFL. I don't have a specific reason I can pin this to, but I just feel like he's going to flail and not be the kind of guy that can lead an entire org to success.

I don't know, Lawrence has never really lived up to the billing. He's certainly not the can't miss prospect everyone had predicted him to be. Remember, he was being compared to Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning in terms of prospect potential.

He does not strike me as a leader of men type personality. He has that Jonathan Gannon vibe:

Feel like dying of Cringe?

I really thought the Terry hold out was gonna be a big cloud over training camp.... honestly, it feels like a nothing burger right now 🤷

I'm too excited about all the other stuff we have going, and I know he has to play eventually...

I’m telling myself that this is allowing Deebo, Lane, and McCaffrey more reps to build chemistry with Daniels and that McLaurin doesn’t need it as much 😂

Looks like Sainristil got married Monday. Congrats to him and his lady!

Day 3 of Camp, Deatrich Wise was the first player on the field. Looks like he was also the first player yesterday.

Lots of good stuff in here (thanks Conn) but love seeing strong early reports about Croskey-Merritt the most. I want an explosive RB so badly and have high hopes for him. If he can earn it I’d love our backfield to be split between JCM and Ekeler and choose between BRob and CRod for the big back role. Probably asking too much to start the season that way but maybe he can gain the trust to get there in the 2nd half of the regular season.

Yeah the Jags would have been better off drafting a total bust and reshuffling the deck with someone else in the dratt. Instead they had to sign him to market price and will never win anything with Trevor Lawrence. IMO his pick was worse than a total bust like Wilson.

JD (obviously) and Sainristill are the only players from the last draft class who has proven anyting. I guess I can add Coleman but he really was not as good at tackle as I had believed and we still don't know if he can play guard well. I'm looking hard at Johnny Newton this season. I just didn't see many flashes as others did and he has a lot to prove IMO. Of course McCaffery and Sinnot are also huge queston marks. I am also excited at McGee (spell?) and sure hope the coaches are right because we have never actually seen him play and hit people very much.
