A breakout thread dedicated specifically to the offensive side of the ball including, but not limited to scheme, players and coaches.

Excited or worried about the run game? (or neither)…I don’t know which one I am either way. JCM intrigues the hell out of me, though.

Who is JCM?

That would be Bill.
Luv me sum Bill. Camp crush. I guess some people prefer to say JCM instead of Bill. One less letter to type maybe?
🤣🤣🤣

It would be rational to worry about a sophomore slump, but I really have zero concerns. Jayden is really, really good. He believes in himself, way more than anyone else does.

He's going to make noise in 2025.

I want to get this off my chest real quick and this is the thread to do it.

Fuck that sophomore slump noise. It’s gonna be a sophomore LEAP. Our boy 5 is about to be an MVP candidate and I can’t wait to watch it.

I attribute this to his desire to be the best, his work ethic as well his ability to study like a madman and use the virtual training and assimilate that into his capabilities

It’s rare but you get the Marinos, Mahomes, Elways, Mannings that come into the league and just continue to get better and really don’t come down to earth.

Daniels may be that player from the most prolific first round quarterback class since 1983.

Based on what we have suffered through under Snyder for 25 years I think we deserve Daniels to be that guy 👻👻👻👻

Excited, but I could also see it taking some time for guys to gel… not to mention Cosmi missing the first month. Need Coleman and Conerly to pan out though.

then the browns are about due for the goat of all goats

At least the Browns won 2 Super bowls in Baltimore. Their current expansion team is no more due than us, but they are the Browns. 💩

Really looking forward to the Deebo show added into the mix. Fingers crossed Lanes presence is felt early as he can be used in many ways

The OL upgrades should allow Jayden cleaner pockets and create an improved run game. This will especially shine once Cosmi returns.

Obviously there's no formula for knowing what causes a sophomore slump, sometimes its just coincidence that it happens in year two, well established quarterbacks have off years and when its beyond year two its just considered a down year, theres no phrase for it.
But when you look closely at sophmore slumps you can often find a most likely cause, new offensive coordinator, team lost several weapons in the off season, said player was playing beyond his expected talent, or the team itself was so stacked it made the player look better than he was etc.

We have none of those factors.

Our entire offensive staff is back, our offensive line is significantly improved, we brought in deebo samuel and drafted bill to add some speed and elusiveness to our backfield but above all, jayden wasn't carried by this team last year he was doing the carrying.

Jayden is a special player and rarley do those truly special (carry the team) type players regress but anything is possible.

A sophmore slump from jayden is very low on the things that concern me about this team.

I still want to see this team go out and stuff the run on defense inside and see the older running backs in Ekeler and McNichols stay healthy and remain productive.

Those are higher items on my list than worrying that Jayden is going to wake up and become Josh Rosen in Year 2.
