And I can assure you that I could find the same number of highlight plays of every single member of our defense. Including Lattimore or Quan Martin.

It doesn’t mean they’re playing well overall.

When I have some time next week I'll get to watching him. Not that I just reflexively agree with Suter, Bullock, Logan Paulsen but they aren't easy sells especially Suter who lol rips a lot of players especially on defense -- and they've all been impressed.

I find especally at defensive tackle I have to watch it over because especially guys that for real or allegedily deal with double teams, I have to go rep after rep to find out for myself considering they dont tend to have great stats.

But just purely as to the narrative, its been good about Kinlaw. I recall a beat guy, maybe it was Keim but i don't recall 100% who said it, asked someone he knows tied to another team who said on defense you game plan to stop Kinlaw-Payne and no one else on that unit.

But if he's overrated and the film junkies are getting it wrong, I'll keep an open mind when I get to watching it. I love watching D line. I did a clip by clip drill about some D lineman years back on ES. Not that am any expert of course -- but as to forming my own opinion, I can't do it without watching back the all 22. And I'll get to that soon.

Agree even if Kinlaw lets say isn't killing it. For that position, 15 million a year, is what "good" not great DTs get in 2025.

Indeed Kinlaw on those snaps posted by skinsinparadise was not doubled. And on those he was productive…partially because he wasn’t doubled. 😎

I spent some time watching the past two games because I took exception to your characterization that to think so was ‘absurd’ and wanted to see for sure whether or not it was. After doing so I found your declaration to be…well…absurd.

When he’s getting doubled… its because of blocking schemes. Not because he’s being targeting. And if you’re watching him… he’s getting manhandled. And if he has 2 blockers… he just stands there and shuts down.

I really dont understand how anyone can watch him and think hes not trash.

I am slowly rewatching the game on all 22. One thing that's obvious just by watching one drive, its Kinlaw that teams are concerned about. He's doubled teamed on almost every play. They had their big DTs playing edge a lot on the first drive and they weren't getting home. Wondering why? Stopping the run, early? The Seahawks didn't care they went pass happy and could run the ball too when they choose.

I couldve taken screen shots too… watched every snap of the first half. Every play 2x… one live… the other on Kinlaw. I know what I saw… I just dont care enough to prove anything to anyone here. Those days are long gone.

Can anyone name a play Kinlaw made last night? Surely he’s not a bust right?
