This should be interesting. My gut is that he plays decent at G, better than at RT. Hopefully he works well with Conerly and can get him settled in better. I am guessing Conerly will have a lot of Ertz and Sinnott on the other side
 
As much as we hate Wiley he's going to be a much better guard than Alphabet soup. Connely is going to have to improve though. He might be replaced mid game and if he is we're going to have to worry about this last draft.
 
The spread has dropped all the way down to 2 1/2 now. I find that insulting.

I am tempted to place a big bet, but want to make sure this isn't a trap.

Only because if we lose we'll be bitching about how soft our HC is, or how inexperienced our DC is, or how our OC doesn't appreciate a run game, or our franchise QB is too brittle.

I don't want any of that.
 
I think Wylie at guard is a signal that we are going to run more. I think we'll need to try to establish the run some so that they get Chinn into the box. That will then allow our receivers to abuse their corners.

What's interesting is that the Raiders have some defenders on the "what happened to that guy" list - Devin White (starting linebacker), Jamal Adams, Kyu Blu Kelly (apparently their starting nickel)

I'll also be a bit disappointed if our DTs don't feast in this one. JPJ is solid but Parham and Meredith suck. Armstrong has a favorable matchup against DJ Glaze who is also struggling
 
every time Mariota has come into this offense its reminded me of that 2015 kirk cousins 3 step.

We are the superior team. Last week the Packers made us question reality....but its the raiders
 
This game is impossible to predict.
 
The only thing they have is Tom Brady. And he's not putting on a helmet at halftime.

One of those games, Shawn Hochuli in full effect. I saw a stat on X that 48% of our offensive holding calls on the season came in the two refereed by Hochuli. Also the Saints game, where the clock mysteriously stopped allowing the Saints the chance to win the game.

Two scores called back because of nebulous penalties.
 
I was about to predict that the Raiders would win but I changed my mind. That pass defense needs to improve though or their TE might break some records tomorrow. Mariota is probably better than we think. He can handle it for a week but JD better be going in Atlanta.

Hochuli being at the game isn't encouraging though.
 
Just freaking win. Get the win any way possible. A loss today can derail this season.

The inactives. Hoculi. The place kicker. Mariota missing camp. It’s difficult to feel confident right now.

I will say… having seen some video of Mariota practicing recently… that ball was popping out of his arm faster than I’ve ever seen. So Im excited to see that.

YES! Just win baby. The team is way overdue to produce turnovers that should lead to more points for the good guys! And one good clean hit on Hoculi and he swallows the whistle and can't throw the yellow
 
Yeah put Hochuli on IR. Run his ass over.
