New here, and I don't know the temperament for Mega-threads so made a new thread for folks to post draft sim results. If this better belongs in the 2025 Draft thread kindly jettison this into the sun, but really didn't wanna clutter up the discussion focused thread.

My personal house rules are to limit myself to one trade, and make sure that trade isn't egregious via the value chart even if the AI team wanted it to be:

We aren’t fans of mega-threads. We also aren’t fans of threads started for simple random thoughts, thus the ongoing Random Thoughts threads in nearly every forum.

This is a good idea and will allow for a nice repository for the next few months. 👊

I like this thread. The draft simulations are fun to compare to the actual selections and learn from, good or bad. What site did you use bifflog? Like your house rules as more realistic, score be damned.

Mike Green at 33 and Hampton at 61 would be INSANE
A+++++ first 2 picks. I cannot see either of those happening, I don't think Green makes it anywhere near 29 nor Hampton anywhere near 61, but would be insane.

I usually do first 4 rounds for mine most years (not gonna pretend I know enough to grab dudes in the later part of the draft) but we don't have a 4th atm so...

Had Loveland and Conerly in the first but I like Scourton and we need an ED anyway.
I kinda sought out Henderson in the 2nd, there were some other decent options but I think he's a potential Gibbs to our BRob's Montgomery, so had to pull that trigger.
Watts was far and away the BiS left on the board at 79. Have a early/mid 2nd round grade on him and next best available were one of Kaleb Johnson, Jared Ivey, or Harold Fannin. Obviously with an RB and ED already taken, and Fannin was way below Watts. What does this mean for our secondary since Quan is a solid FS? Dunno, but talent is talent.

2nd mock, here's the options at 29:

Absolute shmorgashborg of talent, my goodness. I kinda want Egbuka, he calls to me like the Green Goblin mask, esp bc McLaurin is an Ohio State alum, it's like "what if this guy is another Terry" but I could not pass on Green at 29.

The heart wanted Henderson at 61 but the head said you gotta take Elic, and then I got Henderson anyway. This feels like an insane best case scenario for us, major immediate impact players at positions of need at all three picks.

(not gonna pretend I know enough to grab dudes in the later part of the draft)

For sure in later rounds I am mostly just looking at position, until later on when there are some better resources on deeper selections to determine fit (like Dane Brugler's The Beast)

OK trying one with PFF's simulator now (this one ain't free for seven rounds, but it does have some neat sliders to play with). PFF also neglects to credit us with our two extra 7th rounders at this point (rude!). A little frisky in the one, trading next years 2nd. Grading didn't like me reaching for Henderson, and didn't approve of my impulse buy of a guy named Tonka which I couldn't pass up.

Green at 33 would be insane. I don't think that's realistic but would love it. Also would be really happy with Ferguson that late.

Uh oh, I stumbled upon something cool:

So uhh, this is probably a bit beyond me but I would love to see someone's stab at this :D

Looking back at this We would probably need to pick up DL also; and restructure Scary Terry, Reid from Seattle-in the mix at DL would probably be affordable. Will try another mock- addressing DL
S

mock addressing DL --picking up choices for next year-I signed Cook as a hold over to see how Brown and Brown develope.
