Time to take the boards temperature after 2 games and with Jayden Daniels potentially on-the-shelf (along with Austin Ekeler & Dedrick Wise done for the season).

The original preseason poll-

I don’t remember what I voted for, but no change. At Green Bay I had always figured as being a loss and we can beat the Raiders this week with or without Jayden.

No change for me, 10 wins, I predicted a sluggish first two games for specific reasons. It's gone down that way for the most part, except for the defense in game 1.

As Keim said we are kind of on repeat of last years first two games just in reverse order.

But yeah I think even with Mariota they pick things up starting this Sunday. If they really struggle this Sunday, I'll start to worry a little.

I picked 9-8 but I now see no way the team wins 6 of the remaining 10.

Here’s my original prediction from when the schedule dropped.

Is it too soon to predict our record?

Week 1: vs. New York Giants - W
Week 2: @ Green Bay Packers - L
Week 3: vs. Las Vegas Raiders - W
Week 4: @ Atlanta Falcons - W
Week 5: @ Los Angeles Chargers - L
Week 6: vs. Chicago Bears - W
Week 7: @ Dallas Cowboys - L
Week 8: @ Kansas City Chiefs - L
Week 9: vs. Seattle Seahawks - W
Week 10: vs. Detroit Lions - W
Week 11: @ Miami Dolphins - W
Week 13: vs. Denver Broncos - W
Week 14: @ Minnesota Vikings - L
Week 15: @ New York Giants - W
Week 16: vs. Philadelphia Eagles - W
Week 17: vs. Dallas Cowboys - W
Week 18: @ Philadelphia Eagles - L

I’ve got us at 11-6, but I’ll admit to making an optimistic revision from my original 9-8 prediction (flipped Detroit and @NY to wins). I think we will still be good, but we have a tough schedule, and 12 wins is a lot.

I had us 4-3 at this point, beating Atlanta and Chicago but losing to LA. Here’s my revised prediction, knowing what we know now about injuries, our opponents, etc.

Week 8: @ Kansas City Chiefs - L
Week 9: vs. Seattle Seahawks - W
Week 10: vs. Detroit Lions - L
Week 11: @ Miami Dolphins - W
Week 13: vs. Denver Broncos - W
Week 14: @ Minnesota Vikings - L
Week 15: @ New York Giants - L
Week 16: vs. Philadelphia Eagles - L
Week 17: vs. Dallas Cowboys - W
Week 18: @ Philadelphia Eagles -L

So put me down for 7-10.

We have only had back-to-back winning seasons once since the Super Bowl era, and that was Gruden’s weak 9-7 followed by 8-7-1. Looks like that trend of not sustaining success will continue, but hopefully they prove me wrong.

Hoping for 10.7, maybe 9.8.

I'm a homer

Before the season started I was at 9-10. Now I'm going with 7 considering the schedule.

I posted about this in preseason, our schedule is brutal. Especially with the injuries now, I'm scared about just hoping for a winning season!

A winning record considering everything that has occurred to date would be a hell of an accomplishment. To do so would require winning 6 of the remaining 10 games.

@KC, Sea, Det, Mia, Den, @Minn, @NYG, Phi, Dal, @Phi

Not impossible but not likely either.

I think the big question is going to be can Daniels, Deebo and McLaurin all play 5-6 games together healthy. If that's the case, they could win any or all of those 5-6 games.

They have 10 games left.

I think they're going to get to 8. I was 11 before the season, I think. However, with the injuries, no DEs left on the roster, Daniels out at least one more game, and the toughest part of the schedule coming up, it's going to be a tough road to hoe.

I hope we can break even?
