2024 NFC East - Transaction / Injury / Roster thread

Oof. That sucks for the young man.

Could you imagine what would happen if 2 NFC East teams made a trade in the 90s? It woudl be mayhem

No surprise there. I don’t know how they are going to pay all their players, but I’m expecting Prescott and Parsons to sign big contracts too.

No way in hell that Joe Schoen survives this. Dabol shouldn’t either considering his slovenly behavior on Hard Knocks. John Mara would be fired as well were he not the owner.

Too bad, so sad.

He will clear waivers no one will pay that crazy contract the giants gave him. But the cowboys are desperate for a QB and they could sign him next week at a much lower salary.

Jones just stated he wants to sign with a contender as a back up.... No sane team should sign him if he is happy being a backup

To paraphrase Clint in Unforgiven 'Belongs got nothing to do with it'. :)

Look - even after a 3 game losing streak and that terrible one yesterday, the Commanders would be in the last wildcard spot if the season wrapped up today. They have at least a 2 game lead in the NFC over everyone except for Arizona who has won 4 of the last 5 (they lost to the Seahawks yesterday).

The playoffs are STILL right there for the taking. Will they take it? No idea. But some of you guys act like no NFL team in history has ever lost 3 games in a row. It happens. A lot. It's a week to week league - if yesterday doesn't show that, nothing will. The good news is, there's another week after this one, and another, and another.

They can absolutely get back on a winning track and be a playoff team.

And one aided and abetted by an unprofessional player along with probably the most stupid play call of the year when Chicago was at the goal line.
