2024 BGO NFL Pickem: The Final Results

A final recap of our 2024 BGO NFL Pickem Contest results.

Please join me in congratulating our top 3 finishers. At the top of the heap is our 2024 Champion, DixieFlatline with 202 points out of 285 possible, an impressive 71% success rate. Great job Dixie In 2nd place is Om who gave Dixie everything he could handle but just couldn't overtake him. Om finished with 198 correct picks, a 69.5% accuracy rate. We had a battle for 3rd place. Even after 285 games and tying in the Super Bowl, we had to go to a total Super Bowl points tie-breaker to decide a winner. Congrats to RobinTom for edging out Ashburn Dave for 3rd place with a 68.7% accuracy rate.

We will be settling up with our top 3 finishers with some nice prizes in the coming weeks.

Rounding out our top 10 for 2024, congrats to Professor, Neophyte, China, SkinsOrlando, Kel Varnsen, and IronMike. Great job guys and thanks to everyone for playing. We hope to have our biggest and best contest ever in 2025.

Amazing work, Dixie. This Pickem is always a challenge. But it reminds me NOT to bet on NFL games, despite all of the advertising on TV during the games. If I cannot consistently pick winners and losers, then there is no way I would not lose all of my money if I had to choose point spreads.
