2024/2025 Playoff Standings

Much as I would have liked to attend, I like the Tampa matchup for the team. Poetic symmetry with the Week 1 rematch, poetic rematch of our last playoff opponent, the next chapter of Lattimore vs Evans, staying on the east coast so no weird time zone issues... this is going to be a fun one.
and its low 70s to low 60s there all week. Players should love it

I’m expecting this matchup to be the first game of the playoffs. It will be an early game and I just get the feeling it will be Saturday at 4:30.

Daniels has come a long way since the opener.

The Bucs won their division without another team that had a winning record.

Still lost 7 games.

The NFL needs to go to a competitive seeding for postseason.

It’s not a great look having a 14 win team and a 12 win team going on road to face teams that would have been in third place elsewhere.

The winner of the Monday wild card game will play Sunday in the divisional round. ( As opposed to Saturday div. Game ).

I'm actually hoping for a Saturday Game at Tampa, just works better for my schedule. Either way I'll be down there

I actually disagree, I like the division winner format, otherwise scrap divisions if it's just win/loss.

This matchup tonight reminds of the 1983 second to last game when we went down to Dallas, both 12-2, and throttled them, avenging the MNF opener when we led 23-3 at half and collapsed.

No Danny No!

Minnesota/Detroit @ the Rams is assured to be the MNF game. For one, it gives Minnesota/Detroit equal rest to prepare for the Rams. Secondly, it's a nice giveaway to ABC. My guess is that the schedule will be:

Saturday:
4:30: LAC @ HOU
8:00: GB @ Philly

Sunday:
1:00: DEN @ BUF
4:30: WAS @ TB
8:00: PIT @ BAL (Although I could see this swap with the Bills game honestly as PIT/BAL was just on national TV two weeks ago)

I didn't know Amazon got one of the playoff games.

In the 2024–25 NFL Playoffs, Amazon will exclusively air one Wild Card playoff game.[

That's good thinking, on both counts! My main problem is well-meaning American friends who assume I've seen the game and congratulate (or commiserate with me).

Heh. I have two friends who after the Eagles game I texted. My opening text was, "Did you see the game?" They answered. I responded, "My lips are sealed" so I didn't quite give it away, but they knew there was something worth talking about.
