2024/2025 Playoff Standings

Giants over Saints seems virtually impossible, and the only way I see Tampa Bay losing is if Mayfield can't play.
The Raiders beat the Ravens in Baltimore and you could argue should have beaten the Chiefs. They definitely could beat the Bucs this week, even if it’s not likely.

The Giants over the Saints on the other hand, that really does look nearly impossible.

Appreciate the updates on the games to keep an eye on, y'all!

The funny thing is, if the Bucs win and the Falcons lose this week, we actually are gonna start rooting for the Bucs to WIN. The reason being is that we absolutely must avoid a 3 way tie with the Bucs and Falcons. We are OUT if that happens(Falcons win division over Bucs as they have tiebreaker with the sweep, and Bucs get in over us).

We have more wins than these teams. The only way we lose out is if we don't take care of business.

So, in that regard it is up to the 53 men on this roster to finish the season with wins against clubs that outside of Philly are .500 or lower on the season.

We want the Bucs to win that division no matter what. They have the tie breaker over us, so we want that off the table. We still 'control our own destiny' when you look at Atlanta since we have them on the schedule.

Looks like the Lions are going to squeak out a win unless they do something stupid again.

Lol, I thought they were going to go for it again.

Well maybe they will. Haha.

Wow, that was totally moronic, but it worked.

Dan Campbell is going to Dan Campbell.

We wanted Detroit to win. So yay.

But when they decided to go for it on 4th down there, I was hoping the football gods would punish Campbell, give the ball back to Love, and they would go down the field and kick a game winning FG.

But the football gods maybe just gave Dan a warning. Got Goff’s foot stepped on.

But next time somebody is breaking an ankle and it’s going to be a fumble.

Don’t anger the football Gods.

Detroit won, but that game proved (again) that Green Bay is very, very good. They are a legitimate threat to Detroit in the post-season.

We may be talking 'paloffs', but THEY are driving towards the playoffs. Incredible.

I honestly cannot believe that after 4 years of putrid Rivera drafts we are talking paloffs. Whose idea was it to let a guy who never had back to back winning seasons as a coach have full control over personnel? Oh yeah, that arsehole....

Who I’m rooting for tomorrow:

Giants over Saints: doesn’t really matter but a win possibly keeps the giants from the #1 draft pick and a 9th loss for the Saints kills momentum and might have them start to tailspin again.

Vikings over Falcons. The Vikings are out of reach. A loss by the falcons puts them 2 back in the loss column from us from any potential tiebreaker and keeps Tampa in front for the division. Which we want since we lose the head to head tiebreaker with Tampa

Bucs over Raiders. Put them in the lead for the division.

Panthers over Eagles would be great but the chances of that are akin to running into Sydney Sweeney at the Great Falls Safeway buying Champaign to bring with her as she comes to hang out in my hot tub. I mean, it could happen. But it won’t.

Seahawks over Cardinals: gives the cards their 7th loss and lets the Seahawks surge towards the division.

Bills over Rams: gives the Rams their 7th loss. Breathing room.

Bengals over Cowboys: Becuase Dallas. Also that ends their 2 game win streak and puts them at 8 losses.

Bears over 49ers: that gives them 8 losses and essentially ends their playoff chances. I don’t think this will happen but eh. It could depending on SF injuries.

Rams to lose. Rams have weak offensive line and weak secondary and Josh Allen and Co. don't seem to be giving up on catching KC.

Falcons to lose, Kirk throwing 0 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in his last 4 games.

Dallas to lose (just on prinicpal alone). Micah Parsons is a joke. Several weeks ago he refused to name Prescott one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and criticized the play calling of the coaching staff, now all of a sudden he says he wants everyone back next season. Cowboys always end with the high maintenance players they have to mollify with big dollars.

49ers season to die an early death against the Bears coming off a bye. Look SF has 8-10 players on IR or inactive. This is essentially their JV team. Bears should win game with no Bosa and no pass rush.

Obviously, we want to see Bucs lose any and all of their games. What a shame the contest with them was not coming up now instead of in Week 1 with a new roster of players playing together for the first time. I don't think they win that game by 17 again.

The Chiefs are amazing. They win games they should win, they win games like the Vegas game they have no business winning. But Reid and Veatch continue to lap the competition. Instead of sticking with two young left tackles that graded out by PFF as the worst combination in the NFL, the Chiefs front office went looking and found DJ Humphries rehabbing from a torn ACL last season and signed him to a minimum deal. Now, a few weeks later he's going to start for KC at LT.

If he can get on the field and play at the level or even close to the level he did before, this will be a major coup for the team.

That said I think the Chargers give KC a run for their money today but end up losing by 3 at the end.

LA wide receivers and running backs just not good enough to really exploit the KC defense like Buffalo did.
