2020 Skins Free Agency Tracker

He's definitely intriguing. Still hear the same knock on him, though. Between the 20's, there's only a 50/50 chance he'll catch it. At best.

However, in the redzone, he is money. Can't say I've heard much about his blocking. But I think it's safe to speculate, that he's as good a blocker, if not better, than Reed and Davis were, combined! Well, because my dead grandmother is.

Of all the remaining FAs out there, the one I want badly is Eric Ebron. He had a breakout year in 2018 (tied for most TD catches). Had a down 2019 after Luck left the Colts, but he is a very good TE. Make it happen Rivera!

I have mixed feelings on Ebron. I agree with all you said about his positives. But he’s also a pass catching only TE with a history of injuries. Nothing major mind you, but he’s only played 16 games in a season twice. That is what scares me about him. But with the TE landscape the way it is, I think I’d still like them to sign him.

Missed you, Ax.

We’ve signed a couple of large fellas this FA go round :) UDFA played college ball at Kansas State. 28 yrs old. Has bounced around the league. Depth only signing from what I can tell (pretty in line with all our other signings).

With the concern about the absence of big-name players signed, I take comfort in knowing Gibbs won multiple SB's with few big-name players, and Rivera comes from the same mold. I know the 2 coaches are not close to each other in coaching talent, and I know football has changed since the 80's, but maybe if we get enough blue-collar guys who play hard together, maybe we can win.

So if we are riddled with injuries again this year, with the likes of signings like Davis, Davis, Pierre-Louis, Schweitzer, and Lucas, we are at least going to be forced to rely on guys with previous starting experience. A welcomed change from throwing guys into the fire when they are not even remotely ready ala Geron Christian.

Some might not like the depth signing approach to free agency, but I think its more of an indictment of the previous coaching staff. I think Rivera is fairly high on some of the talent already in the building. I think the new staff is also watching the tape and is appalled at how some of our players were previously utilized. Coaching is going to play a big role this year.

I have mixed feelings. I hear your argument and the proof will be in the pudding. But most of these guys are no names none of us have ever even heard of. A lot of these signees have never been consistent starters for good teams. I don’t see how you get better signing scrubs, even as depth players? I’d much prefer we signed 1 or 2 legit starters than a bunch of scrubs.

Well, I've heard of them.

I have no doubt. Let me rephrase - unless you’re BB spending countless hours studying NFL rosters, you’ve probably never heard of a lot of these guys.

I would be less concerned if we had filled a major need with a truly talented player. The closest we’ve come to that is the Fuller signing, but even there we see him through B&G colored glasses and ignore that he didn’t exactly shine in KC.

Remains to be seen :)

I like Rivera and I’m not jumping off the bandwagon. I think we are an 7-8 win team with Rivera and Del Rio at the helm, even before FA and the draft. I don’t think this FA crop moves the needle much, especially when you look at who Dallas and the Eagles have added.

At this point is there a legit reason to keep Geron Christian on the roster? Dude just never developed

He's on the roster...….in March, mmmkay?

Besides, every player on the roster that played under the last, inept, coaching staff, will get a season to show what they can do under actual leadership. At least in my eyes. Assuming that's what we get.

So is Trent and at this juncture they’re both equally worthless
