2014 NCAA Football Season

No Boone, he doesn't know what happened exactly that night, but he does know the evidence the state had. He was a law student clerking at the States Attorney's office...and yes that clerk did have access to knowledge of the facts the "State" had.

The state did not have shit to prove a rape case. Yet, we have too many who are quick to convict him. The 2 arguing me in this thread are still claiming she's a victim when all evidence points to her dishonesty. Was she a victim? Like I said, I am not sure. But she sure looks like someone who wanted sex...not a victim from everything available to anyone who was not there that night. they keep calling her a victim with 100% certainty.

Brian, I am gonna leave this alone after this comment. But i feel it necessary to point out that she could have changed her mind about sex with the QB, and if she did but he did not allow that change, her intentions going into the encounter are irrelevant.

Not arguing against that Goal. This statement is true and I have said I agree with it, she could have changed her mind. The problem is, you and CT continue to suggest it is fact, when you don't know.

I cannot believe how the Seminoles insist on making me sweat victories so damn much! Another huge victory after having to fight back from 14 point half time deficit.

Jameis is the best college QB I've ever seen. It 's just ridiculous.

Some team is going to trade the world to get him at number one.

...and regret it within three years after that...

Yeah, I am not sure how he will transition into the NFL, I see another Cam Newton on the horizon. With a solid enough team around him, he could be a little above average, but he will likely end up somewhere he is asked to do it all. He can in college, doubtful he will in the NFL.

But...he is one of the best college QB's in the last 10 years, for sure. The kid is an enormous talent. Let's hope his narcissism subsides and he learns the word humility.

RG III may play with reckless abandon but Winston plays with mental abandon.

I am not sure how anyone can honestly believe he will be able to pick up an NFL style offense and stay out of trouble for more than 1 year at a time.

Probably the same people who think RG3 can play at the same level of competitiveness he has displayed over the last 5 years and not get injured again.

And Mike, he doesn't play the game with mental abandon, he plays outside of football with it. Did you watch what he did last night?

Yeah, except Griffin is learning not to run with reckless abandon and just got hurt on a fluke play. Not everyone who scrambles dislocates their ankle. But everyone who walks out of grocery stores without paying get busted for the crab legs they're holding.

Whatever you say. It's a fluke...Robert will play all 16 games for the next 10 years...Blah! Blah! Blah!

Jameis Winston is a ****ing knucklehead! But he is without a doubt one of the top 5 college QB's in the last 10 years, maybe top 2. You can hate on him all you want, doesn't change the fact that the kid is a great college QB...better than RG3 ever was in college. Heisman Trophy and National Championship!

Does that mean he will be a hit in the NFL? I don't know. Probably not if he doesn't get his act together, but you are quick to judge. I guess he is beyond redemption...let's just put him out of his misery now!

Didn't Jason Campbell win a national title? edit: it was the sugar bowl and he was MVP...my bad
Jamarcus Russell?
Cam Newton
Wasn't Colt McCoy a Heisman finalist?
Didn't Matt Leinart and Carson Palmer both win National titles, too?

Yeah, that really means little in the NFL. Which was my point.

I am quick to judge? You have judged RG III since before he came in to the NFL by your own acknowledgement!! You said you didn't like him immediately and have NEVER given him a fair shot. But you support Winston and try to give him some benefit because you are a fan of his. That is cool and all, but see your bias for what it is.

I have the current odds of Winston as our next QB at 70% currently.

That number will decrease if RG3 stays healthy, and will go higher if he can't.

He already plays in a pro-style offense....one of his biggest attributes.

Embrace him........there's a great chance that he's coming to DC.

is this the same bet like Silas Redd as our starting RB?

Or Josh Gordon as the next big thing?

I tease...but, bro. Your betting odds are getting worse as you make them. Redd had 1 carry for 1 fumble.

Josh Gordon was a great prediction. He's obviously a star.....he just needs to stop smoking pot.

Silas will be huge too.

Josh Gordon the car salesman? Even after all those people got reinstated back from drug violations he didn't.

Silas may be huge...but he isn't replacing Morris.

Yeah, that's about where I am with him. He is incredible in college. I mean really remarkable. But he kind of reminds me of Vick a little. Not in his playing style, just in his knuckleheadedness. I just don't think the kid has good judgment, and that would worry the hell out of me when it comes to drafting him.

Yup, and like I said…we don't really know how his play will translate to the NFL…in fact, I have said that repeatedly. But his college career has been nothing short of spectacular, but you won't admit that because of your bias.

Yeah, that really means little in the NFL. Which was my point.

Your point? Ha! Your point all along is that he is of the most unsavory character based on reports by the very media outlet you rail against. SECSPN...er..umm ESPN. Your bias is obvious, so don't try to suggest your being subjective here.

I NEVER said I did not like him! I have never judged him to be of poor character! I have always found him to be an upstanding, likable young man with a bit of an ego. My stance has been the same all along. We spent too high a price on a QB who plays with his style of football. I clamored against it because I knew he'd end up hurt…often, which is becoming the case…fluke or not! I have come to see he has many more flaws in his game that cannot be disguised by scheme anymore. We spent 4 picks to get him…3 firsts and a 2nd and that investment has come nowhere near close to paying off…unless you want to say the rookie season, divisional champs is worth the pay off.
