After reported cuts, #Redskins have 27 offensive players on roster, 28 defensive and 3 specialists. 25/25/3 is normal split.

Figuring two will go to PUP and one to IR. That means two more cuts to go.

I think that's a huge assumption. I like Redd, but lots of RBs look good against scrubs and in practice and suddenly look very average when up against top notch defenders. Almo is a special back. He's proven he can be exceptionally productive game after game regardless of the defense.

Redd has proven nothing yet. I do like him, but let's not get carried away.

Tampa Bay may prefer RBs with some experience. Leshoure is available. And others. Royster too. The Browns are expected to put in a claim for Royster though.

The Minnifield cut breaks my heart a little, but he looked pretty weak in the preseason games. I hope he can make it to the PS, because I'd love to see him as a Skin in the future.

Keeping McCoy over Seastrunk is interesting.

Agree with this. Not going to mention it again on this great site, but he looks as good as Morris right now.

Good enough where if they wanted to trade Morris, I wouldn't lose a second of sleep. I don't believe they will, because I don't believe the FO feels that we have any huge holes.

Had this been a year ago, where we did have a ton of holes and Redd appeared out of nowhere, I would have then expected the FO to shop Morris.

The decision to keep McCoy kind of stands out to me. I guess it could be one of four things:

1. We already have enough RBs, and believe Seastrunk will make it to the PS.

2. Precautionary regarding RG3's health.

3. Flexibility to trade Cousins.

4. McCoy just looked that good. On his own merit.

Sixth and seventh rounders that make the team in their first year is a gift. Going to the PS is usually the norm. Let's see what happens.
