2012 NCAA Football Thread

Texas better figure something out quick or they are in for a long night! Geno Smith is special! If I were the Browns, I would tank the season to draft that kid!

A) they are starting Brandon Whedom, aren't they already tanking?

B) JMU won on a last minute drive - Go Duke Dogs!

Looks like Texas did something!

JMU has a football team? :)

Then again, you could say the same thing about Virginia these days...

3 ****ing 4th down conversions on the final drive to give NC State the win! ****ing pathetic!

LOL!

Sorry, El, but some opportunities are too good to pass up. :devilish:

Ha! You know - all I have to do is even think about rooting for a team and they drop from the sky like a duck on opening day. On a serious note, I'll stand by my original comment - Duke is a greatly improved football team and no laughing stock anymore.

After being down by seven at the half, the Duke Dogs have decided to show up and play in the second. They have taken the lead with 10 unanswered and are pretty much dominating.

Man, if Notre Dame wins out, they will likely play for the National Championship. That is disgusting and sort of cool at the same time.

Yeah, I am not a fan of the Fighting Irish, but I watched them play OK Saturday and they are a very good football team.

Very proud of my Cavs for showing some determination and spirited play these last two weeks. It's nice to see - finally.

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alabama got beat and that just makes my day! So lovin' it! Hahahahahahahaha!!!

Unranked Baylor is taking it to the #1 ranked team in the nation!

#2 Oregon has only scored 14 points against Stanford.

Unfortunately, it looks like Notre Dame could find themselves atop the ranking by Monday and an SEC team could find the #2 spot.

Edit: #1 and #2 lose in the same week for the first time since 2007.

1 and 2 go down, and 3 - 11 played layup games... going to shuffle everyone forward 2 spots, and the winner of the SEC championship will take on ND in the Championship, as long as ND doesn't buy too much into the hype, and lay a dud against USC next week.
