I've been annihilated this week
 
Does anyone know why my RB Josh Jacobs GB is on the "Can't cut list"? Not that I want to cut him but I am curious why he can't be cut when better players on my team like Mahomes can be cut.

That is set by Yahoo. Not sure why Jacobs is there to be honest, but I have control over it. Yahoo designates those players and they do that to keep leagues balanced.
 
I just wanted to say I am not ‘throwing’ the game this week but I have 5 or 6 combined WRs/RBs on Bye weeks and two of my best guys are hurt (one on IR who may not return). I literally have zero available RBs and I will have to go without replacing them. Barring miraculous performances by my other starters I am probably taking a loss this week.
 
In both leagues I'm in , I've been butchered by injuries but how it goes

...you have a lock on first place with playoffs starting next week. I think you're safe :p
 
What a crazy competitive BGO fantasy season it was this year. One single game separated all the teams from 2nd place to 10th. As well, two of the top four teams in total points ended up out of the playoff picture. Good luck to all BGO Ballers headed to the playoff round!
 
Yeah CH...

I went from 2nd (and a first-round bye) to 6th last night in the last minute of the Bengals/Cowboys game - courtesy of you. All after looking like I had the weekend sown up going into the game. LOL
 
At least I'm winning in my money league.

My one point lost two weeks ago did me in here. Oh well, better luck next year and good luck to the winners.
 
Congrats to Boone for finishing first in the regular season. He rested his starters this week, but still got the top seed. I’m sure at least one person here approves of resting players during games.

jmsully4 finishes 2nd and also gets a bye for the first round.

In other matchups, ZeroAnd16 will play Special K in one quarterfinal match.

In the other quarter final match, Ozhog65 will play Neophyte.

I guess it's true what they say - anything CAN happen in the playoffs.

Congrats to Tuanon Truthers for laying an ass whipping on my of epic proportions with 173.54 points. I unfortunately lost several of my best RBs who carried me all season a few weeks ago, then Jalen Hurts went out early and that sealed my fate. It helps to know that I didn't have the points on my bench anywhere to have won no matter who I played yesterday.

Anyway, can't complain as I've had a ton of luck all year long. Congrats and good luck the rest of the way for those still in it to win it.
 
Congratulations to ZeroAnd16 for winning this year's BGO Ballers Fantasy championship. He was able to win behind the strong performances of Jared Goff and Saquan Barkley among others.

Neophyte is this years runner up, who was unable to win despite the heroics of Jayden Daniels and a strong performance by Bijan Robinson.

Finishing in third is jmsully4 who defeated Boone in the consolation game.

Thank you to all of this year's participants. I appreciate everyone who puts time and effort into playing and making the league very competitive year in and year out.

We will start signups next year around the time training camps get going.

I thought I might manage a repeat but it wasn't to be.
 
Congrats to the top 3 and especially ZeroAnd16 for an absolutely dominating playoff run. And thanks as always to the Commish, Kel Varnsen, for doing an awesome job with our league. I suspect next season we may have to have a couple of leagues :cheers:
