The Redskins are in a continued tailspin and the news continues to get worse. Media and fans believe the players have given up on the season and some interactions with players and fans have been nasty.
Week fourteen is in the books and now we take a look at how the entire team fared against the New York Giants on Sunday. Are you expecting bad grades this week? We will try to make some sense of it all as BBQ hands out grades, evaluations, and questions. Feel free to offer your own grades, evaluations, questions, and opinions.
Upcoming Dates:
- Days until we receive Redskins gifts: 12
- Days until the final game of 2018: 17
- Days until NFL free agency: 90
- Days until NFL draft: 133
Let's take a look at week fourteen.

Question: Well, how about the receivers?

Tight Ends:
Question: What grade do give them?
Answer: It was ugly and so is the grade.
Grade: D

Defensive Line:
Question: What grade would you give their effort against the Eagles?
Answer: They made Eli Manning look like a twenty-five year old all-pro and Saquon Barkley made this group look like a Pop Warner line.
Grade: F
Linebackers:
Question: How did this group fare against the Giants?
Answer: Mason Foster had a bad game. Now he is having a bad week. Next week should be interesting.
Grade: F
Cornerbacks:
Question: How about the corners?
Answer: Toast. Burnt toast. To a crisp.
Grade: F
Safeties:
Question: How should we grade their efforts in this game?
Answer: D.J. Swearinger and Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix got lost on the way to FedEx. They're still lost.
Grade: F
Special Teams:
Question: How about this unit?
Answer: Tress Way was solid. And that's that.
Grade: B
Coaching:
Question: What can we say about the coaches for this game?
Answer:
Offense. Pitiful. The offense looked fairly competent in garbage time.
Defense. Something is still not right with the defense. They look lost, confused, and unorganized.
Special teams. Tress Way is the lone bright spot.
Grade: F
The Redskins have three games remaining and the season has slipped away. Fans want changes in the front office and on the coaching staff. A once promising season has been reduced to ashes in just one month. Is Jay Gruden in his final weeks with the Redskins? How about Bruce Allen? Or Greg Manusky? Should the Redskins select a quarterback in the first or second round of the 2019 draft? Have the players quit on their coaches? Is the writer of this blog ready for the season to be over? What are you getting/giving for Christmas? How would you rate the game against the Giants?
We'll see you again next week. On to week fifteen and the Jaguars game.
Hail To The Redskins! Hail to Christmas. Hail to snow and ice. Hail to anything positive. Or negative.
