Random Commanders Thoughts

Rehash, recycle..... getting pretty tiring ain't it.

Funny how cap-less-year-gate has gone from screams of collusion to inept reading of 'signals' from the good ole boys.

The Griff story is moot, he either plays his way into a career or not.
Quivering over whether or not he'll get injured and how the Skins will regroup if all goes bad is best treated with Valium.

Awe man, I missed the Valium handout, dammit.

Completely agree with ya Tom

If Crowder didn't do it, one would expect him to make a statement proclaiming his innocence.......Especially by now.
But the fact that he needs his agent to speak for him, just to simply say that he didn't do it, seems kind of odd and raises up a red flag.

Why? Anything he says will be morphed in to whatever story the mediots want it to be. Look at them tearing Griffin up for sticking up for his teammate even though they got on him for not doing it last year.

It's a cut and dry issue.
Either he did it, or he did not do it.
There's no wiggle room there, for anyone to morph a different interpretation on such a black & white statement.
And of course he shouldn't be under any obligation to make a statement.
But I think most people here would agree, that the typical human behaviour of someone who has been publicly and falsely accused of such a despicable act, would not be to remain completely silent

Oh the drama. I'll comment when there are actual facts reported, either way.

Ray Lewis said he didn't kill that guy yet the thought is always there.

Can't wait to see that tidal wave of maroon slamming into the opposing D's line 45 times a game....Almo flipping them off & with "Miley tongue" as he runs thru a canyon size hole enroute to the end zone!

Is this Jim Zorn?

I am not saying it is going to happen in this case, but often times when you are building a line you get that one street free agent or lower round pick that makes it and becomes a regular. I am intrigued a bit by the write-up on Austin Reiter. Lichtensteiger will be the starter in 2015 but he is also 30 years old and has had some major injuries along the way. I twill be interesting to see what the team's plan is for 2016.

Not necessarily true. There could be a lawyer involved calling the shots behind the scene with a "gag" order, or even something on the QT from the league office. With all the disasters the league has been dealing with as of late, they surely don't want media going hog wild with the story, so the less said the easier it is to deal with.

Nah Pete that makes too much sense. I want answers! And I want them Now!

But if the story is indeed false and his account was simply hacked as a dastardly deed, none of the above would be necessary, would it ?
There would be no information existing, that needed to be gagged.
Instead, he would be shouting his innocence from the rooftops.
If HE is indeed the victim of simply a cyber act here, what is there that he has, that needs to be gagged ?

The cynical person would say Crowder is quiet because he is busy buying the woman off before the NFL gets to interview her...........

He's gonna run out money real quick then, considering he hasn't made a lot of NFL money yet.
Unless he worked out a contract with the girl, to make long-term payments on an installment plan

The person who says that about someone without knowing the facts is called a gossip. You have no facts or proof to back up a horrible claim such as that and are just participating in the same thing we hate the mediots for.

Maybe they want to have all the answers in hand before anything is said publicly. Ya know, some type of documentation of an outside parties web signature attached to his account to prove his innocence. It would cut the media coverage in a big way if it's cut and dry with one statement, as apposed to one statement to say he didn't do it, then a statement saying info is forthcoming, and then finally all the info. Or again, maybe he is guilty and has been told to STFU by counsel or the league. Do you find it that hard to believe that Goodell is beyond saying keep quiet until he has all his ducks in line innocent or guilty?

Yep, info should be kept under wraps during an ongoing investigation, particularly from the 'defendant' side of things.

If it actually gets down to the nitty gritty, then he'll have the opportunity to plea his side without massive public opinion tainting before hand.

Has anyone heard any more from her side other than the opening social media salvo, something real world like formal charges being brought?

We are all excited to experience the announcement of draft selections IN REAL TIME TOGETHER. If you feel the need to be the first to 'blurt out' the team's picks you are better off staying out of chat and sticking to Twitter. Please refrain from announcing/discussing our picks until the official announcement has been made at the podium. Thanks!
