Just heard this on the Dan Patrick Show and thought to myself that it's not surprising nor concerning to me. Anyone here a baseball fan?
As an Orioles' fan, it is tough for me to be remotely interested. I believe the luxury taxes that keep teams like the Yankees and RedSox competing for Championships year in and year out has ruined baseball. It keeps owners like Angelos from fielding a winner because they get paid by those clubs that pay into the revenue sharing so they can sign all the top tier players.
I have come to the point of thoroughly disliking MLB. I hope the small market teams continue to make it to the WS.
