Keys to the Game Contest

What: A fade into the left corner of the end zone to win the game. Both feet are down.

Who: Josh Doctson.

When: On our final series, with less than two minutes to play.

Defense steps up and contains Steelers O. Cousins has an efficient game and throws 2 TD's.

Player of the game...Tress Way. He keeps putting the Steelers offense in a hole making them try to have long drives.

Let's go positive. :)

Desean Jackson has two 40+ yard receptions for TDs. That's the difference.

Jones has 120 all purpose yards and a td

Cousins gets picked with under two minutes, Steelers run out the clock to seal the win

Late in the third quarter, Skins down by 10 but driving. After several completions moving the ball, hand-off to Matt Jones. Breaks to the outside, has a lane and is Stripped of the ball from behind. Stlrs take over and that is the running point in the game.

Sorry peeps

Blanford didn't have it quite right, except that we were close for a bit and then the ceiling caved in. Blanford is our Week 1 winner. PM me your address young man and I'll get your keyring in the mail.

The Week 2 'Keys to the Game' is now open.

Predict away. And **** Dallas.

Dez Bryant - 7 targets - 2 catches - 12 yards. Pretty well keeps pace with his week 1 (1 of 5 for 8 yards) performance but Redskin fans will still whine because Breeland covered him too often instead of Norman even though Bashaud has played Dez quite effectively in the past.

Much to the confusion of Cowboy fans and the Redskin coaching staff, Dallas continues to utilize the TE screen pass to Witten even though it was a complete failure against New York. Because Gruden and company don't understand the play they will wait for the game tape so they can game plan for it the next time they play the Clownboys. Witten so befuddles Bruton that the Skins pull him off the field and use just 10 players on defense which will have some degree of success. In the end, Jason goes 6 of 10 for 99 yards and 1 TD.

Washington will intimidate the Turds on ST's by not making a single return unless they are down by 3 scores. Because of such lopsided play calling in Week 1, Jay will correct that by running 10 rushing plays even though they will average 6 yards a run. The defensive scheme of not putting pressure on the QB should be continued especially against a rookie who can't find his #2 receiver. Interestingly enough; the Giants didn't sack Prescott once but he still wound up making only 55% on completions. That's a hint.

Game amounts to mostly a battle of field goal kickers because neither team can find the end zone even with a map and a guide. At the end of the game with 30 seconds to go and the Redskins down 20 to 25 with a 4th and 2 to make a TD, Jay plays it safe and goes for a FG. However, the plan backfires when Way fumbles the snap and Hopkins is able to pick it up after the ball goes through several tumbles then he stumbles backwards into the end zone for a game winning TD and there by winning the place kicker battle.

Hey guys - just a hint but try to keep it simple. Your 'key' should be predicting a key play, a key performance, or the turning point in the game. Something I can read after the game is over and say 'He/she nailed it!'. So JohnssBass - yours could be 'Tress Way bobbles a snap and Hopkins picks it up and rushes for the game winning score'.

Keep it simple :)

OK - just releasing some tension but I am serious about Witten's stats; he seems to be a thorn in Washington's side.

6 of 10 for 99 yards and a TD which will cause the staff and some fans to panic but won't cost the Redskins the game.

DJax's 2 TD's will win the day.

Though Kelly's 75yds and a TD in relief will be a close second.

Joe Barry will find a way to take the most obvious mismatch of the game---their OL versus our DL---away from Dallas with a combination of well-timed blitzes, confusing coverages and mystical incantations. The secondary will benefit, turning a couple of INT's into the good field position we'll turn into the points that make the difference.

It's a high scoring affair, but the Redskins win on the strength of two Jordan Reed TDs.

Down 17-13 at half, cousins throws to td's to reed and we eek out a win 27-24
