  1. BGO Draft Chat

Was really hoping Hudson would fall to us. Oh well. Still some highly rated guards available.
  2. BGO Draft Chat

Picks next year? would have to be a first....
  3. BGO Draft Chat

I wonder if Bowers' knee is just completely toast......
  4. BGO Draft Chat

I like the pick....at least from a positional perspective. Ultimately, I don't know anything about Jenkins other than what I'm reading now. Here is ESPN's take on the pick: What he brings: Jenkins has excellent size and his greatest strength is defending the run, where he gets good hand...
  5. BGO Draft Chat

Am I reading this right that Jenkins put up a combine worst (for his position) 17 reps on the bench press? http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/combine/_/id/27222/jarvis-jenkins
  6. shouldn't be surprised

And despite all of that they are winning on the road against a division rival. color them lucky?
  7. Immediate Notes

Just have a bad feeling about Haslett. I keep waiting for the defense to self destruct under his leadership.
  8. NFL Draft Day 3 (Allen audio/Final)

I don't agree that we got the equivalent of a 6th. I don't think the net present value argument fits here. IMO, the quality of player you can get with a 6th round pick (in any year) will always be less than what you can get in the 4th round. I'd rather have the 4th.
  9. Pretty Impressive...

I don't recall getting that from our QBs. Ramsey, JC, and even Brunell seemed to leave a lot of plays on the field (i.e. missed opportunities). If DM can improvise AND actually take whats given consistently then I think we will really notice it. Of course, his ability to do any of that it...
  10. Haynesworth on the move ?

Seems like Shanahan is sending a lot of messages. This one, the one sent to Portis, Landry, and hell every other underperforming player. Given the cuts made it would appear that everyone is on notice. This sort of tactic can be very effective. And I hope it is. However, it could also blow up...
  11. Release: REDSKINS SIGN PHILLIP BUCHANON

This is where I am at with the signing as well. Isn't he a bit younger than Fred though?
  12. I’m very disappointed in you all….

I cant see Bradford lasting until 4. Someone will jump up and grab him at 2 or 3 if the Rams don't grab him.
  13. RB LARRY JOHNSON

I don't understand this at all. Why not find some young fresh blood to fill the position. LJ isn't going to be around long enough to help this team when the rebuilding is done. I just can't see the team being competitive enough next year for this to make sense.
  14. Laron Landry and Brian Orakpo: Faces of Organizational Failure

Does anyone have anything that substantiates this? I was having a discussion on the other site regarding LL's natural position. LL was a FS for most of his time at LSU. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=174956 I can't seem to find anything that discusses him...
  15. Smart Reasonable Moves

Isn't the word on Rinehart that he has had "mental" issues that have made it difficult to adjust to the NFL game. Mental isn't the correct word here but I thought there were rumors concerning his maturity and comitment to the game. If true, I'm not sure a better supporting cast would make any...
  16. Smart Reasonable Moves

I'd just appreciate the FO taking a long term outlook to rebuilding this team. The record NEXT year doesn't matter. If the FO sees a guy at #4 they deem is a "franchise" guy I'd support it.
  17. I'll say it - Suisham got a raw deal.

After today's performance one has to wonder if Suisham's time in Dallas is up.....
  18. Does Smoot Make It Back In Dual Role?

I think he missed a half dozen game or so.....are you being serious?
  19. I'll say it - Suisham got a raw deal.

I don't understand the need to get rid of Smoot. Fred seems like a sold vet 3rd corner for this team that probably won't be easy to replace. Is it an age issue? I dont think the team can afford to get rid of ALL its veteran CBs....especially since Rogers may or may not be back.
  20. Haynesworth, Despite Own Imperfections, Pulls Curtain on Zorn & Skins Staff

You point is that Al doesn't make those around him better?
