I seem to be able to toggle the quote button and select the posts that I want to quote, but I can't seem to find them when I post a reply. Help?

If you are planning to move to another country, or take a trip somewhere overseas and want to make sure that you can access BGO, let us know. We utilize a Sucuri firewall to keep hackers and spammers away and part of our approach is 'Geo-blocking', preventing access from entire countries that are top 10 in terms of worldwide hacking. If you are in one of those countries, you may not even be able to see the site, much less post on it. But we do have the ability to 'whitelist' your IP address...

 

This has been happening more and more often. It doesn't seem to matter I'm on the phone, or PC. It's pretty annoying...especially for long winded posts

 

Fyi, this is for the mobile site on my phone.

First issue I'm having is posting images and gifs in the funny thread. Whenever I try to post an image I get an error notification - it won't let me submit just the pic unless I add text to it. Is this intended? I've been able to trick it by typing a single period or punctuation for the time being.

My second question/issue - when in the main forums none of the threads are showing page number jumps or "last page". The page numbers and last page...

 

Got a new phone and trying to remember how to install the app on Android. I thought if I went to the website in Chrome, it would prompt me to download but can't seem to get that working. Can anyone give me some guidance?

First, I have vision problems. That said, I can't tell if I've read a thread or I am on the last page of a thread.

Any way I could change the colors or make the brightness more extreme? Makes it very difficult to navigate this forum. I've tried in the night and white versions.

 

Question: How can I change my location on my profile? I took a look but couldn't see anything obvious to change it. It's only a minor thing, but I moved from Birmingham, UK to Worcestershire, UK a while back and never thought to change it.
I'm probably missing something obvious.

 

Our User Mood feature start causing errors in the member profile (you may notice if you click on your avatar). I am working with the vendor to resolve. If they can't fix it, I will just disable the mood from displaying on the member pages.

 

I've been trying to upload a new signature picture, but it is not overwriting my current one when I do. I've also tried deleting the current picture and uploading instead of just overwriting it, but even then the old picture still appears. I've tried this in the Brave browser and Chrome. Also while in incognito mode in case it was a cache issue, but still the same problem. Any thoughts? I wonder if it's a server cache issue and maybe just needs time to cycle?

Has anyone seen this in the last day or so? If I'm on the main page or outside of a thread, it appears that I'm logged out because the option to Log In shows up. If I click on Log In, I get a banner pop-up that says I'm already logged in. If I go into a thread, it then appropriately shows me as Logged In.

When I click on the picture, it takes me to the bottom of the page. Shows me the top half of a small version of the picture and I can't click anywhere, can't scroll, etc. The only thing I've been able to do is hit the back button which takes me to the thread itself. See below.

I updated this morning and can no longer use any of the tools located above the message/reply text section. All are now grayed out.

Over the past couple of days, I've been getting an error message, when trying to post replies. Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console. Specifically, in the 5'oclock Club "what are you reading" thread. Error has been popping up for two days.

 

I think I've seen this before. This morning I started getting this error. I use a VPN and was going through a server in Charlotte. If I turn off the VPN, I don't have a problem. I tried a server in Manassas, Va with the same problem. Going through Atlanta I was ok. 99% of the time I'm using the Charlotte server. It's odd to say access from my country is disabled since in all cases, it's still the US. Any ideas? Is an IP ranged on the black list?
