    What's for Dinner?

Chorizo's with smoked corn. The chorizo with the toothpick has no spicy rub on it for the wife.

    What's for Dinner?

It's not my favorite topping but my wife loves it, so I'm stuck with it. Normally I would do a half and half, but these dough balls are small at 12" so not big enough to make it worth it.

    The Jayden Daniels Tracker

That's a hell of a gamble by AP if true considering we're breaking in a new OC and DC in 2026. We are so screwed if those two falter this year.

Never played Laytonsville. In that area though, I've played Falls Road, Woodmont, and TPC Potomac courses. Nice area but a little too far to drive for golf. I used to work in Rockville, so those courses were easier to get to then.

We are an hour away from the grandkids just so we won't become the babysitter. We also did the different shift thing to eliminate child care early on with ours.

    What's for Dinner?

I was generous with the salt and they were tasty. Too much food though. One steak would have been enough for the two of us.

Fiji or Bora Bora in one of those overwater bungalows is still pending for us. Although after discussing Jaws in the movie thread, I would be the guy who jumps off his bungalow first thing in the morning into the mouth of some big tiger or bull shark.

I'm still waiting until 70 before taking SS. Yes, it is a gamble waiting but I don't need it today so I'll wait another 3 years and take that gamble. I'm another one collecting pension. Today we drove out to Harper's Ferry with our new ebikes and rode bikes with the grandkids. Pure bliss.

I still might do the golf course gig if I get bored. Free golf when your not working. I played with a single the other day at Brambleton. He worked there at Brambleton on Friday's only and golfed as a walk on every other day of the week for free.

Great Movies That Others Might Enjoy, Or Ones To Avoid

Jaws almost ruined Spielberg's career due to filming issues they had with their studio being 10 miles out to sea. Spielberg's first run is more impressive to me. I can't watch Saving Private Ryan anymore either. The knife scene where the German slowly stabs the American while shushing him...

Great Movies That Others Might Enjoy, Or Ones To Avoid

Jaws impacted me more than any other movie ever. As a youth a bunch of us would swim out as far as we could with a tennis ball. Then one of us would throw the ball as far as we could even further out. Whoever got the ball, got to throw it next. Whoever didn't get it was chicken of course...
