    Giants have the “luxury” to draft RB at #5 with the 10th pick looming. I think it’s set in stone if he is there. Love + Downs would be great for them, brutal for us.

    Outside shot Tate is there, no chance on Love. A good player may unexpectedly fall (like Reese), it seems to happen every year.

    I don’t think there is non-D player you can take at #7 (in that scenario, also assuming Love is gone), so no real choice but to neglect QB/OC. I wouldn’t call it purposeful, if the chips fall that way. They could still draft best available WR in round 3, or perhaps move up late round 2 to get one.
