That is crazy close! I know at least once I forgot to pick any tiebreaker points during the regular season so I was trying to make that up at the end.
Great season, lots of fun.
Your lady is a keeper! Mine was game to try, but she didn't care for any of them. She stuck with wine, but couldn't finish her second glass so I had to finish beers, bourbons, and her wine.....
My lineup includes more than bourbon due to guests.
For the ladies: beer and wine.
For the men:
Macallan 18 sherry oak cask
Elmer T. Lee single barrel
Stagg Jr.
I agree. It's your own palate. I got into scotch because my ex's best friend married a scotsman who was a rep for Glenmorangie. He knew a hell of a lot about scotch and was not a homer. His home "stash" was more amazing than any restaurant or bar I've ever seen. We talked a lot about...
I found it at two places in DC. Press Liquors and Washington Wine and Liquor. Press had 2 or 3 bottles that I saw. I got the last bottle at Washington Wine and Liquor.
You will be happy to know that you didn't waste any more time checking other ABC stores. No store in the NoVa area has it. There are 2 bottles at the warehouse in Alexandria but they are saved for restaurants. The clerk printed out the inventory search for me.
While I drink most scotches neat, putting an ice cube or a sprinkle of water can really open up the drink and change the profile. But while its one thing to drink 80 proof neat, I believe that something as high as 134 should be cut a bit.
I am way too late to this thread!! I love bourbon and scotch. Have been a lot more into scotch for the past few years but watching Justified always makes me want to drink bourbon.
So I will be trying to get my hands on these recommended bourbons. Thanks HOF!
