I'm trying to keep tabs on guys who were our FAs this year. Lot of news going on, so some things get lost in the shuffle. Here's what I scrounged up:
FA Lost:
DL Jon Allen - Vikings
S Darrick Forrest - Bills
S Jeremy Chinn - Raiders
WR Dyami Brown - Jaguars
OT Cornelius Lucas - Browns
OLB...
I mean if this is his "highly motivated" production, then I shiver to see how ineffectual he will look afterwards.
Half of his season sacks (2) were against us in December.
a "meh" career would be an upgrade for Dyami. Dude has averaged 150 yards and 1 TD per season since he was drafted. And his career numbers only look this stellar because he had a few good games at the end of the season with Jayden.
That Darnold contract is going to age like Mama June.
Seahawks just got rid of both of their talented WRs, and the cupboard is basically bare at the skill positions. I think we see vintage Darnold for the next 2 years before Seattle cuts bait.
Pretty sure you're being facetious, but ole Zane has been open that he has OCD, and the hair thing is a part of his "ritual".
If he buzzed it off, he'd still be styling his scalp.
Deebo only averaged 3.2 yards per carry this past season, which is a career low by far. I didn't watch much of the 49ers, so could anybody provide any insight?
I know he was battling injuries, but 3.2 YPC for a guy that was averaging over 6 YPC for his career is worrisome.
We just played in the NFCCG. We have a franchise QB. More hope than we've had in 30 years.
The bucket doesn't have holes. You (and a lot of us) just want a different coat of paint on the new, hole-free bucket.
I'm sure you're as disappointed with the name news as I am, but your post is quite hyperbolic.
Very few people will care if we're back in the playoffs next year and continuing to win games.
It's unfortunate the team is sticking with it. If I had to guess, I think the ownership group just doesn't want to deal with the expense of changing the name again. It's easier to just wait it out until people get used to it.
I don't like it anymore than I did on day 1, but I guess we get to...
I think Bram mentioned they were looking to make some tweaks to it. I just came across this on Reddit and thought it looks awesome. Bring back the old uni's and incorporate the newer "W" into it.
We just need more talent. We were carried by the sheet will of our stud rookie QB, who successfully played hero ball in every critical moment to get this team to the NFCCG. The luck ran out against a roster that is far more complete. We were obliterated in the trenches on both sides of the ball...
I was always particular to Redwolves, Wolves, or Warthogs.
Warthogs plays with our past and the alliteration sounds nice.
Will we get a rebrand though? Commanders is stupid and I'd get rid of it in a heartbeat, but you have to wonder if it's still a priority with ownership.
I have to disagree. Hurts isn't terrible; he's a mid-tier QB overall. In my opinion, he's being carried by what's the best roster in the NFL. Their lines are absolutely elite on both sides, the best scoring defense in the NFL this season, an MVP caliber running back to make his life easy, etc...
