My guess would be to limit the amount of players you go after, but that would be better if you were sitting on full draft picks or more. Or if you had a top DC (Flores) that players would want to play for. Spitballing here obviously.

"The way that we live is not for everybody, okay? Because we're gonna run and put our bodies on people in a violent manner. And so, we're gonna get that play style right first, right?“ Joe Whitt jr. He did say put bodies on people, but not wrap them up and tackle them. Guess he wasn’t wrong

I hope so. Unfortunately, they pick again at 16, it’s very likely they’d just hold and pick him there

Potential good news is that our starters will likely get decent preseason play time to get used to the new system and for Blough to get comfortable… or one would think

I think it would be pass rusher and WR, but depends heavily on who’s available, evaluations, and FA. Personally, I’m cool with Love and Downs if we don’t target those positions.

This is my thinking as well. The bucs also fired their OC and there’s a real good chance if the eagles are one and done they’ll be searching as well. Also, the lions as has been posted. We may make the most sense as far as connections, but some of these other teams may be better fits. The bucs...

doing some snooping on the raiders reddit and it’s mostly all positive about Graham or who they call PG. some say they’d want to keep him if possible, some are okay moving on but only for a fresh start and of course a few (very few) who don’t care for him.

I think he’s been fine. He was tasked with being WR1 for the majority of the season. Has played with 3 different QBs at varying times and was used on special teams. I wouldn’t really resign him unless it was cheap, but he’s done better than most give him credit on here.

I really hope we do an outside hire at DC. We need fresh eyes that know how to call plays and identify talent.

    2026 NFL Draft Order

Guessing this is the patriots cake schedule? I’d say with a healthy QB on that schedule we could be looking at 9-4 or 10-3 at best and at worst we’d probably be 8-5 or 7-6. Our D was pretty atrocious and we had some other big injuries not just at QB. For instance, we saw the difference it makes...

I’m guessing the giants take a WR this year, I don’t think there are any OL projected that high that they’d reach on. I would love to see us get Pierce to allow for a trade back or give us options when we pick.

and hes injured and needs surgery. I'd love to get Tyson. Not sure he would be there when we are picking, but possible. That would be a great get to eventually replace terry in 2-3 years.

2025 Washington Commanders- All Things Defense

Not defending Whitt as I'd rather we had someone else at DC, but two big differences I see from last year are injuries and offensive control/TOP. Last year we were 7th in time of possession at about 30:51 average. This year we are 28th at 28:17. Now i know that's not a huge difference, but that...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Sure, but draft position isn’t what indicates injury history. Obviously circumstances play a part, but Burks had one good season with 444 yards. Rest are 221, 34, and right now 72. Noah browns best at 567, he’s also got 453, 555 and some other burks like seasons. Burks played 11 games his rookie...

I’d be fine with burks as a Noah brown replacement. At least in roster spot, maybe not depth chart. The problem is he’s similar in that he’d likely be injured often like Noah brown.

Eh, we could realistically beat the eagles at the end of the season if they’ve clinched the bye and are sitting their starters after the half. I’m sure they’d love to hurt our draft position too
