serv, those thread stats speak to the eternal optimism of the BGObsessed!
danny's veiled admission that the organization needs a change, Coach Allen's son coming home to oversee the salary cap and the impending hiring of a coach who will handle personnel? we can only hope they can bail water...
can't wait until cerrato speaks out and gives us some insight into the inner workings of the organization's front office. imagine the inside info he could reveal regarding snyder, gibbs 2, zorn, et al. he should be able to take his radio show to another station and speak freely now!
mods, thanks for updating the thread title, i didn't know how to do it & i just wanted to get this Christmas present out there asap...
i would think danny interviewed an internal candidate just to keep it on the down-low and satisfy the rooney rule as a mere speed bump.
early momentum/ speculation seems to be favoring holmgren...
shany is the one that scares me -- i was in denver when he got those two Lombardis. he seemed like a genius back then. for him to fall so far makes me wonder if his time has passed.
cerrato takes the low road by not mentioning zorn in his release statement.
good riddance, vinny, don't let the door bruise your behind on the way out!
one of my favorite exchanges:
Frank Perconte: Now just think... if you had any class or style like me, somebody might've mistaken you for somebody.
SGT Martin: Oh, like your ****in' Sergeant?
[Martin shows Perconte his SGT insignia on his arm]
Perconte: [says meekly] I'm just kiddin'.
i would tend to agree with cosell's observations about campbell.
i am 180 degrees away from him on his thomas assessment -- i think he displays explosiveness after the catch and the few times he has had an opportunity to return kickoffs.
lanky - grandma's gate was locked. her front door was locked. isn't that a clear message from grandma that she doesn't want you in her home? why would she need to give another warning verbally not to invade her home?
