  1. 11th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League ***Skinsfanpip Champion***

Just found this thread. Is it too late? If not, I'm in.
  2. Washington Announces Temporary Franchise Name

I thought the same thing too.
  3. Washington Announces Temporary Franchise Name

    Why not just be "Washington"?
  4. 10th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Hey Fellas Thanks for letting me in this. I promise if you let me back next season, I'll attend the draft on-line and not the stupid auto-draft. I really had fun competing each week.
  5. 10th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Yes, I would love to join this league. The only issue is I'm on vacation the last week of August, so may have to do the dreaded 'auto-draft' if that's OK.
  6. Weight Loss and Diet

For me, it was finally finding something that I can stay with long time. If lowering carbs doesn't do it for you, find something else. If you like to eat whatever, look into intermittent fasting. Like carbs, go with a low fat diet. There's even just cutting calories. The other thing that...
  7. Weight Loss and Diet

I have a build very similar to what you describe. I have been doing 'lazy Keto'. Basically I avoid simple carbs, fried food, etc. Also do cardio every day and some weights during the week. Dropped 65 lbs since March. Feel great and look forward to the next 35.
  8. Alex Smith Speaks - 'I'm jacked, I'm really excited!'

Goes for front office as well. Locking up a good QB at the cap level they did was a very good move (not sure if intentional, but I'll take it).
  9. PFT: Talk of three-way Romo-Cousins trade is “conjecture!” at this point

It's kinda like anyone of us posting that we "could be" the winners of the Mega-Millions drawing coming up, well, because you know, we have a ticket.
  10. C-A-P-S

So, Caps pull an "All In" type of trade for Kevin Shattenkirk. Great move. They give up a minor-league forward (who was showcased by Trotz the last week and looked better than he will ever be), along with a couple draft picks (very high, as the Caps will be the top team again). Plus they got...
  11. C-A-P-S

What a great game by the Caps. Yes, much better than watching the Bachelor (or whatever drivel is on the local stations). They beat the Red Wings 6-3, which is 11 wins in a row at home. 10 by 5 goals or more. Seriously, you are ALL missing an epic season (think Skins, going 14-2 and then...
  12. C-A-P-S

I hear ya, fellas. Just that there's not much other good stuff to watch on Tuesday evenings, so tune into CSN one week at 7 and enjoy the show.
  13. C-A-P-S

I'm down to begging all of you to please check out the Caps this season. Trust me, it's worth it. So, CSN just posted a statistic: In the Caps last 8 home games, they are 8-0, Five Shutouts, and outscored the opposition 42 - 6. That is ridiculous. They just added that the Caps have scored...
  14. What's for Dinner?

How do you grill the drummetts/wings? Direct on the grill iron? Any special prep?
  15. What's for Dinner?

OK, I'm not a great expert on pork, but I've made pulled pork before and love it. Is there anything you look for specifically with the shoulder? How long should you slow-cook it (I only have a crockpot), so if that doesnt work can you advise for another part of the meat?
  16. What's for Dinner?

My wife is making her great tasting meat-balls today. 1 lb ground beef or turkey 1 lb ground sausage 1 egg 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs 4 cheese sticks Spaghetti Sauce Cut cheese sticks into 1/4 length or so. Put in freezer for at least one hour. Combine both meats, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix...
  17. C-A-P-S

OK, anyone not watching the Caps this year is missing a fantastic ride. They play fun to watch hockey and still win games. I beg you, please, Please, PLEASE tune into a few Caps games and I promise you will be happy you did,
  18. Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2017 (Continual Updates)

@Burgundy Burner - thanks so much for posting these mock drafts. They give me great insight to players that I know little or nothing about. Appreciate your hard work and dedication.
  19. Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, The Mock Drafts, 2017 (Continual Updates)

Even if they do keep Garcon, I would love to see them get Pryor. He's a better overall athlete than Britt, showed he can be a good receiver to move the chains and get downfield if necessary, and brings the ability to be the wild-cat QB in the red-zone that often is the issue I have with #8...
  20. What's for Dinner?

So, my good friend is married to a gal from South Korea (her parents born/raised there, she was born in US). Do you bury your Kimchi before you eat it? He told me that was part of the 'official' process. Never had the stuff - heard it isnt the best smelling, hope you enjoy. ps. Start...
