Yep…I mean, if Kirk stinkin’ Cousins can usher in a new era of fully guaranteed contracts, Jayden Daniels could toss the entire league into another dimension lol…(provided he becomes what what almost everyone thinks he can become)
So how much of the cap does his contract eat up this year (not future years, just this year)? My assumption has always been incentives don’t count against the cap unless they are considered easily reachable.
How is it arrogant if it’s factual?
And notice I never said anything about viewpoints being right or wrong in an echo chamber, only that opposing perspectives were rare.
I’ll stop you right here lol…
IMO, “Loudly reported” is another way of saying “speculated.” And I don’t believe it’s incumbent upon either side to address every piece of speculation tossed out in reporters’ tweets. That’s what Jerruh and Micah do, constantly go out and publicly address stuff...
Can’t remember where I read ir heard it, but some well-known retired player said that GMs should be careful relying on using the franchise tag as a replacement for signing their star players…I think he said something about it having a very real negative effect on the locker room and team culture...
Does it really matter who “caved,” though…or if either side even caved at all? I guess in a way it’s better for the franchise moving forward if the GM and owner did not cave, but will probably be impossible for anyone to know if this was one side caving or just both sides going through whatever...
