  1. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I am really surprised that Peters' calculus was that with this many holes we were going to be outbidding the Raiders and others that were basically starting over from scratch and could spend ANYTHING on these early signings. Center is not the premium position on the OL and I would not want to...
  2. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I wonder though if Roseman passed on him whether he is going to be better than Lemon. At least it now looks as if Drake Maye is going to have AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs to throw to in 2026. A big upgrade on what he had last year.
  3. Random Commanders Thoughts

By going over his head so to speak and drafting Ty Simpson on his own Les Snead is perhaps already planning for a post-McVay world with the Rams. I wonder if McVay has voiced his wish to downshift a bit if he is able to win a Super Bowl with Stafford and then both are going to ride off into the...
  4. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Well, they traded McDuffie and lost Watson in free agency so KC was motivated to make the pick. Here was a case of need and best available at position coming together.
  5. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

Hopefully we can at least get a guy like Jamison Crowder who was a #4 pick and came in and provided some depth as the #3 receiver early on. I would like to see an outside receiver rather than a slot this time around - a developmental player that can at least come in and make some catches if...
  6. Welcome to Washington Sonny Styles!

    Co-worker? :eclipsee-victoria:
  7. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Why they resigned the 31 year old Conner is beyond me.
  8. The HC Dan Quinn Discussion Thread

When I heard about the Russini/Vrabel scandal the first thing I thought of was McGloughan's wife saying that Russini was her husband's side piece :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
  9. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

So, does Washington get permission from SF to renegotiate Aiyuk's deal in exchange for a 2027 late pick? No one is going to trade for him if the September roster bonus of $25M isn't taken away.
  10. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

Yep, think we will turn to the geezers in free agency to fill out at wide receiver 2, although there is a chance on Day 3 to get a developmental WR that actually plays the position and isn't just a special teamer like McCaffrey and Lane.
  11. Welcome to Washington Sonny Styles!

I think one area where Styles may fall short of all the hype is as a blitzer/sack man.
  12. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I would have taken Caleb Downs if all the other short listers were taken. He's the unquestioned best player at his position in the draft and we haven't had a safety that was worth a **** since Sean Taylor.
  13. The Front Office: Adam Peters and Roster Construction

Well, Rivera really did leave Peters and Quinn nothing to build on. Emmanuel Forbes was drafted at #16 and we lost out on Christian Gonzalez, which was a crime straight up. AND as you can see now McVay and Snead went out and acquired Trent McDuffie and Jaylon Watson in the offseason so...
  14. The 2027 Draft Thread

I have no doubt that our #1 pick in 2027 will be a WR. The market prices for a WR #1 are so high and Jayden's contract is due for extension so dollars will be at a premium. You count in Terry is not a value player at 32 for us at his current salary and is likely to be gone.
  15. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I know we are keeping him but I think Roseman would have dealt Daron Payne for a draft pick and used it tonight.
  16. The HC Dan Quinn Discussion Thread

I think Harbaugh is going to trade Thibodeaux tonight for a #2 pick. So, Reese will take his role IMO. I know they said he is an OLB but in that alignment he makes more sense as a true EDGE.
  17. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I like Burks, I was a big proponent of signing him when TN let him go. I think he has upside that McCaffrey and Lane don't have. I just don't know that all THREE aren't just crabs in the barrel. They have to crawl out of the barrel and start impressing us.
  18. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Magee and Sinnott have talent but as folks have indicated they haven't forced the coaches into putting them on the field and then refusing to get off it with productive play.
  19. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

The Eagles own the third round with what, 3 selections now? I think they traded one away.
  20. The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

That's why the Cardinals have been picking in the top 5-7 for the past 20 years.
