  1. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

The Ty Simpson selection :bolt: Let's keep up the momentum with the picks. The Rams are the Rams.
  2. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

These damn comp picks are killing me. It's like the Atlantic Ocean to cross before our pick.
  3. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Yeah, I am sure she'll do fine at the truck stop.
  4. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

True, but in the Super Bowl against the high scoring Rams it was the Patriots #1 overall defense that won the game by limiting LA and McVay to a Super Bowl era low of 3 points. The offense only scored 13 points, which is the fewest of any Super Bowl winner. The Patriots for those runs had a...
  5. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Actually he got his start in New England where they made the draft an art form.
  6. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

She's 43 with two kids. Good luck.
  7. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

I thought the Tunsil deal was OK because we didn't give up a #1 as other teams have for a LT. That said, you can make the argument that Conerly Jr. is a natural left tackle and potentially could be moved back to that side, his natural side where his athleticism and quick first step are...
  8. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Hartman and Bill are friends of Jaylen, you have to ask first before trading or releasing them :aargh4:
  9. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Russini. She lost her job and got outed for 15 years of questionable conduct.
  10. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Have to ask Jayden first :devilish:
  11. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

No, but if you trade the #5 pick and attempt to get into Round 4 about 15-20 picks earlier I think you can find a deal. I don't think a team will trade a #4 pick for a #6 and #7, no I have been watching the draft for 40 years and am not that stupid.
  12. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Yep, playing chess while some others are trying to find their ******. Belichick lived by accumulating #3 and #4 picks and having guys on cheap contracts for 3-4 years.
  13. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

    Nice Cockney accent there.
  14. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

I think Washington has done well at #7 and #71. I just think now in Day 3 we could have made a move to perhaps give up some later picks to move up in Round 4 and take another guy who may be able to come in and contribute as a rookie who was projected higher. When you are talking about #6 picks...
  15. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Hecht may be gone by then.
  16. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

No fantasy tales. Judging by the results. If you are simply looking at Washington and not looking at what other successful teams do in moving around and making the board work for them then I guess there isn't much I can tell you because you have your mind made up that this is all alchemy and...
  17. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

we could use the opportunity of comp picks being allowed to be traded the past couple of years to move up
  18. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

    Is Sam Hartman still around?
  19. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

Well, we are never going to know the inner working of the draft room unless someone writes a book. All we can do is judge by the results. If a team is flexible and adaptable to the ebb and flow of a draft it shows in its moves or lack thereof. You judge by what they do, not by what they say.
  20. The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

So, we just come up short every time we try and make a move? I don't buy that. To me we are just sitting there eating popcorn. This year it worked in Round 1 and 3 as IMO we got two guys that are going to contribute right away. But in the back end of the draft you can get some steals but you...
