It's probably me but I am confused by your post.
DId Bates get injured?
Where you say Peers would have more pressure to sign Diggs than Burks, do mean more pressure to sign Diggs than keep Burks?
Clowns or not, they did hit on a number of pretty straight forward issues and positives about the team. Quite frankly, adding Diggs is indeed a Captain Obvious move.
That is good news if the protection can hold up. While scrambling is one of his top qualities, it also gets him banged up. So it is both his superpower and his kryptonite
More time learning to read defenses will give him the ability to make quicker decisions and hopefully learn to trust...
This really stood out in Finlays day 2 report, especially the word "maybe". Why maybe? JBJ should not have been the veteran backup because he lacks experience.
"With Allegretti out Julian Good-Jones got to work with the starting offense, and the results weren’t great. JGJ has been mostly a...
Yeah I heard a mention someplace else that once Allegretti went out they experienced some bad C play. Sounds like they will be scouring the available FAs and waiver wire for OL with C experience.
It also begs the question, do they move one of our other IOL to take some snaps there with Gulbin...
Yeah, things were too slow last year. They say everything has been way more upbeat so far. That's what I hoped and pretty much expected speed and intensity wise.
That's for certain. Hoping some of the recent picks prove healthy and very productive in the coming year. Also, I feel AP had a very successful FA period for the front 7 on the D plus adding some good pieces to the offense and defensive backfields along with Chig of course.
Yeah, he and Handerson were my next offensively, there were a number of defenders that were all in that clump of quality players with almost equal grades.
At this stage of course they are and have been the concern. Especially if there is a real injury with Allegretti.
And Burks has a history of being dinged up. Part of reason he hasn't been able to prove himself a consistent starter
The point has already been addressed. We had a roster full of old and slow players with one of our only strengths being two T's, and we drafted another tackle. Again, to me that the selection more a luxury pick when we were full of needs and there were so many good players that had to have...
I imagine Allegretti will be fine and Gulbin will be is backup. If he is out they may need to find themselves another vet C. I have little faith in Good-Jones if Allegretti is out.
Sounds like Allegreti may be the only player with a potential injury today. That's great that no one else was injured and he came off the field under his own power and was not limping. However, it having Gulbin and Good-Jones as your healthy Centers is a little scary.
Yeah it is early. It also sounds like they only played on condensed fields, always inside the 25. Jayden and the receivers will need to become in tune with each other.
It does sound like Oweh had a great day today, I love hearing that!!!
Offensively I have heard Antonio Williams was fairly...
I can understand but it would be a bad sign if we need to reach out to Zach. Now Julie, she could make sense
Regarding Allegretti, he needs to improve his anchoring and blocking on the move. He and Gublin seem to have a lot of similarities except for in experience and that Gublin plays with...
Yes Sinnott and Ertz cannot really be compared. I must say, if Ertz didn't get injured I almost think they would have brought him back this year (and I think are keeping his card in their back pocket if a TE gets injured. I find that scary, they have already squeezed the last of his effective...
This sounds great for our DB's. It is hard not to question if it is because our receivers can't separate and/or Jayden does not have trust or confidence in the receivers
