The 2025 Draft Thread

What did Kaleb run? I know they were estimating 4.55 to 4.6? I would like a RB with home run speed but yeah slower but I must admit, I like his play better than most of the others. I like Kaleb. I'd rather an Edge or OT with that first pick though

I started watching him some, struck me a poor man's Conerly. More solid in pass protect than a mauler in the run game. On my initial watch, i don't get the move him to guard sentiment. And that goes double after his measurements which shows 34 plus inch arms which is elite compared to this class where the LT prospects are in the 33 inch range.

Agreed, Put him out as the starting RT and either move Wylie inside or cut him.

I like Ozzie over him if I had to choose. But otherwise he hits me as a RT not a guard. Seems like a reflex move from mock draft types if a player is a decent tackle than he must be a really good guard. Sometimes the point applies but I think they overuse it.

It would be outstanding to be able to hit with a starting RT with a 2nd round selection...Thats me crossing my fingers for that short trade back.

Well, this will be the first time in years that I part ways with Mike Renner on a prospect. He believes Dylan Sampson is the 2nd best RB in this class and I think that is utter folly. He's very hard to evaluate for me. My gut says he is overrated but the production is there. Fumble issues not great in pass pro. I'm way different than Renner and consensus on Sampson. I've not made my final opinion just yet though I have to watch everything with this dude. He does run hard though credit where it is due. Okay, the Mississippi State game sold me on him still think he is being overrated if the choice is between TreVeon or Sampson it would be TreVeon by a mile for me.

If we are going for a guard but not in the first, heck even in the late 2nd, Ratledge for me. And heck he's used to at least practicing against Jalen Carter.

Clay Webb and Willie Lampkin might be good value picks. Also, this seems like a decent QB class though I don't see Ward as QB1 just a cursory look. I like Milroe better. Might be a good class to take a backup somewhere day 3 depending on value.

Curious what your opinion on Jalen Travis is after you watch him. Just put up a 9.91 RAS at 6-8 340. He checks the box on football IQ, character, athleticism and measurables. He probably needs a year of seasoning on the bench because of just one season of football at a high level

Some high RAS/Rated players from Combine from Xverse:
