Time for a Cool Change

The cool thing is, even if we have additional elements in the header image we can use a stripped back ‘letters only’ version for smaller image requirements

Nice. I’d move the letters down just a smidge so there is space between the top of the letters and the stars and I would center the stars in each letter. Might change the est to gold just to see which looks better.. but I can play. Really liking this one.
 
I would suggest a deeper burgundy ... not as deep as the one in the forum header bars (tried it--too dark) but something as deep as you can go w/o disappearing. ;)

Whatever image we use, I would think we would also reduce the logo image to 90% so it’s not jammed in that space when added to the header. So it sort of matches the margins of the rotating image banner (if that makes sense)

There you go. The Stars are a pain, because the B is wider than the G and the O, so if I centralize them all properly, then the firse two stars start to look too far apart compared to the middle and last one. I've tried to compromise a bit to make them all look even.

I don't know if you have Adobe Indesign, Boone, but I'm happy to send you the file with all the layered components for you to play with.

As for me... I'm heading to bed! LOL Let me know if you want any changes if you can't do them yourselves. :D Happy to help.
 
I think that looks great! I’d wear that on a hat right now! I don’t think we can go much darker and still have it recognizable but we can play with it.

Not shutting anything down but I’m enthusiastic about this one. Good group effort 🤛🏻

I picked up the RGB settings for the uniforms as close as I could. (I can sample them in Corel, and it tells me what they are) so it should be the 'official' colors more or less. That said, we can go deeper burgundy no problem.
 
I hear you on grabbing the uniform burgundy, Knight. Just thinking it doesn't blend all that well with the deep burg we have on the site. Be great to find a compromise.

And I'm with Boone ... that sucker is almost swag-worthy. :)

Won’t the existing burgundy work? Or is it too dark?
 
Yeah against the black of the banner it kinda disappears. Weird.

A little cleaner mock-up. I mean - that is TIGHT. I'll do a light background version in a second. I'm wondering Knightingale, could we also emboss the stars and see how that looks with them popping out a little?
