I would imagine the black is strictly an alternate 3rd option and we see it only at home on prime time games... We don't technically have a 'throw back' so this would be that fill in.
 
What an idiot. How does this organization continue to hire the biggest idiots in the world. All these clowns have to do is look at one of the super bowl rings. They can even open their own media guide and see the right dates. But to them it’s “the fans don’t like the terminology”. No moron, you have no clue. I know it’s been 30 years since a Super Bowl, but how can there be no one that understands this?
 
I’m with you guys. Just acknowledge they should’ve been dated differently and fix it. It isn’t about ‘interpretation’ for God’s sake. It’s like trying to convince fans that shit water they got doused with was sparkling waters from a Himalayan stream…
 
If I were to give Wright and company the benefit of the doubt here, it would seem they’re keeping conversations away from the scandals. Basically get everyone mad at faux incompetence so Dan can slip out the back door while we’re rabble rousing. It’s impossible to screw up, it’s on the f’n rings….

I heard somewhere yesterday that the NFL owns the right to the usage of the roman numerals and won’t give the team the ok to use them.

I didn’t expect to find out that the NFL has trademarked roman numerals. 🤣

So after getting it blatantly and incomprehensibly wrong in the first place, the team decides to "fix" it after getting called out, but rather than just fix the dates, chooses to use the Roman numerals of the games, apparently unaware of basic, longstanding NFL marketing processes.

Yeah. It's that bad.
 
What a freaking mess. All because they don’t want to admit they screwed up. Just fix the years. Done. End of story. People may laugh at them for 1 day. But the longer this drags on, the more we all laugh at how dumb they are.
 
Who's being the hard head up there? Just change the years! If Snyder was such a fan of the team as he says he is, he'd want the years to be correct too!
