Burner's Burning Questions - Week Eleven

The season is now churning ahead to part two and a very important Monday night game. Let's get to this week's brief edition of the questions.

1. Ryan Torain is back and the running game needs a big lift. Will it come against the Eagles?

Answer: Possibly. The Eagles are a good defensive unit and provide a real challenge for the offense. Having Torain carry most of the load could be a burden though. It would be nice if Clinton Portis was fully recovered, but the Redskins will need to rely on the younger players once again.

2. Will Donovan McNabb be sufficiently motivated in this rematch with his former team?

Answer: Absolutely. There was a report from earlier in the week that claimed contract talks have progressed really well and this vote of confidence can only help DMc5. Look for him to have a good game on Monday night.

3. Any predictions for Monday night - other than the score?

Answer: Sure. The defense could get another serious challenge with Michael Vick and the points could pile up in their favor. Torain will have another solid performance and Graham Gano will continue to prove that he is firmly established as the team's kicker. Anthony Armstrong will continue to grow in this offense. Brian Orapko will have half a dozen non-holding calls as he continues have a fine second season with the Redskins.

As for the score: Eagles 31 Redskins 27. Ugh.

See you again next week - hopefully after a Redskins victory.

We are all excited to experience the announcement of draft selections IN REAL TIME TOGETHER. If you feel the need to be the first to 'blurt out' the team's picks you are better off staying out of chat and sticking to Twitter. Please refrain from announcing/discussing our picks until the official announcement has been made at the podium. Thanks!
