    It doesn't take a genius to see that coughing up a big play at least once every game is a sign of a bad D coordinator. While officially, it's Ron's call, I doubt it was in actuality. New ownership put down the hammer and he had to bow to them.

    Jets no. If Super Bowl is the goal, everyone in the league knows Kirk is a 1pm only QB. A late afternoon or night game is the equivalent of disaster. And they might not have cap to get Cousins anyway.

    It's more likely Ron is just a nice guy with motivating powers. Him being the nice coach means the players are too lax and comfortable when the first punches are thrown but he gets them to dig deep come halftime. This team is never going to fix its slow starts.

    The pass defense will never get good. It's good for a 7 every game and it's obvious that Del Rio is a open book for even the worst offensive coaches to exploit.
